With quirky and calming designs by young central American architects, Nya wishes to complement, rather than compete, with the exuberant beauty of Costa Rica's nature, hoping that our clients get to enjoy at its most what nature has to offer in our setting. The staff was extremely accommodating, the hotel was clean and the food was great! The yoga was really fantastic with Metzi, the AC worked well and it was positioned in a great location in town. I saw tons of wildlife in the property and slept well in their beds. I even got to participate in a local beach clean up as their guest.

Hotel's Favourite
5 days was not enough time to enjoy the pleasures this hotel provided. Located in the rainforest, steps away from the ocean, and hidden waterfalls a short walk down the beach. The room was comfortable, extremely clean, all toiletries provided, including natural insect repellent. Rooms are cleaned in the morning with turn down service in the evening with sweet treat waiting when I returned for the night. Restaurants, shopping, activities available with a 1-2 minute walk down the road. The food offered on site was excellent, wide variety including local specialties. The staff were friendly, courteous, knew everyone’s name, and always available for any questions or to just chat. Beautiful yoga studio, overlooking the rainforest with the sound of the surf heard everywhere on the property. We saw white faced monkeys, howler monkeys, geckos, iguanas, friendly local dogs, cats, and so many others. While there, I rented an ATV and toured the area, visiting beaches, waterfalls, and a local bakery, and a zip line tour over and threw the rainforest. They had constant, strong internet (best in that area), left an umbrella outside my door when rain was expected. I cannot wait to come back!…

This is one of the best hotels we have been to in Costa Rica! The staff were so helpful and everything about our trip was made easy because of Hotel Nya. The rooms were super comfortable and everything felt safe and clean. Restaurant UBIN was a hit for everyone in our party! We highly recommend it and will come back every time we visit this beautiful country.

Very nice location, the sea is within walking distance and it is right at the center. The rooms have everything that you need from a water boiler to insect protection spray. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious and very well appointed. I did have breakfast in the restaurant and it was delicious. The thing that stands out on this property in comparison to other properties is the level of service provided which was the best in Costa Rica so far!!!

I hardly have words to describe the wonderful week I spent at Hotel Nya. I needed some comfort and a little luxury and Nya delivered completely! I loved my room and the sweet woman who cleaned and left me flowers every day. There couldn’t be better folks at the front desk, especially Emanuel who fixed my computer among several other issues. When I mentioned that, for me, the bed was a bit hard, they arranged to place a duvet between mattress and sheet. It did the trick. The grounds and yoga studio are gorgeous. And as everyone has said, the restaurant is world class. I come from Berkeley, CA, where everyone is a foodie and the standard is high. Nya restaurant fits in with our best. Cudos to the lovely and friendly restaurant staff. I certainly hope that I will return!

Every single detail of this place was an absolute pleasure. From the friendly staff to the welcome drinks and breakfasts. Our room was next level, looking out into the jungle canopy whilst hearing the sounds of the sea just metres away. The happy hour cocktails were some of the best I’ve ever had, all with their own twist on classics with beautiful presentation which fit perfectly with the contemporary jungle settung. We enjoyed a few hours relaxing by the pool, with cocktail in hand and watching monkeys play in the trees before treating ourselves to the tasting menu which was incredible. It was magical enjoying the sounds of the jungle in the rain or relaxing on a hammock. Every detail was so well considered. Emmanuel and the cocktail waiter made eveyone feel so special and were exceptional at their jobs. I could not recommend this place enough, I put it up there with the best hotel I’ve ever been to. It respects its surroundings whilst still feeling clean, spacious and contemporary. It was worth every penny, would 100% recommend for a slice of laid back Costa Rican luxury …

We had a beautiful stay at the hotel NYA. The rooms are really nice, comfortable and clean. The nature around the hotel is just beautiful. Flowers and lush tropical vegetation. We saw monkeys several times. We also enjoyed the hotel’s restaurant a lot. Delicious food and drinks, in a beautiful setting.

The hotel was even better than the photos. The grounds are stunning! The room was clean and the staff were all so kind. The included breakfast is delicious and the yoga space is beautiful. I enjoyed every part of my stay. It's a 2 minute walk from Chico's and the entrance to the beach, perfect location.

Nya describe themselves as a 'detail' hotel and they certainly live up to it. The design and staff attitude are both warm and welcoming, making you feel instantly at home. The adjoining Ubin restaurant headed by Keilor Sanchez is really really good. You will also likely bump into the resident cappuccin monkeys whilst there who provided endless entertainment. Combine all this with a really close proximity to the beach and you've got a gem of a hotel.
