The rooms here are nothing special but the hotel is environmentally friendly and you are literallyone minute from the beach and a five minute walk to town. I enjoyed the vibe of Montezuma, my kind of place, very laid back. I would suggest renting a motorcycle unless you are already renting a car and heading to Cobano. Nothing wrong with...

Although Hotel Los Mangos is very pleasant, someone broke into our LOCKED room (very easily) as well as all the rooms surrounding. They stole EVERYTHING. I would not recommend staying at Hotel Los Mangos until they add security measures. Apparently, this has happened several times over the past few years. It's unfortunate because as I said, it is a nice...

dear guest, we absolutely understand that you are upset and are sorry that your room was broken into and some of your valuables got stolen. To show our support we actually paid you and your friends 60$, so you could get back to san jose safely. It would have been nice to mention that in your review. Some things are...

The bungalow we stayed in was by far the nicest accomodation we had during our 8 day stretch along our coastal hop and skip vaca down the Nicoya peninsula. A short walk to downtown (take the beach or the road) was nice since we like quiet at night and tended to wake up early for the sunrise across the road...

The owner of the hotel and bungalows overextended himself to us with service, friendliness, and helpful tips about restaurants and activities. The staff here was available for questions and made us feel at home here. Our bungalow had all the amenities and an incredible porch with comfortable rocking chairs and a hammock. The location is a short walk from a...

I was in Montezuma recently and stayed at Los Mangos. It was just perfect and I absolutelly recommend it to anyone heading that way. We stayed in one of the bungalows, which was very nice, clean and confortable. While sitting in the balcony, we often saw geckos, monkeys, hummingbirds and other small animals just a few meters away. The owner...

Hotel Los Mangos is located in Montezuma, Costa Rica. It is 100 m to the beach, and since it is locaed on a hill, you have great views of the Pacific ocean. There are two swimming pools, and the Hotel consists of Stadnrt rooms, which I persdonally did not find all that interesting, and bungalows for 4-5 persons. These bungalows...

As soon as we got in, the place looked like a dumpy, dreary motel. There were ants on the bed which we discovered less than an hour later, but the owner still would not return our money. We headed over to La Cascada next door, where it was much nicer and the same rate. When we came back to talk...

Hotel Los Mangos is primarily made up of individual bungalows in the middle of a mango orchard that lies about ten minutes by foot south of town. Some of the bungalows appear to have been built recently; others, are much older. We were assigned to number 15, one of the original ones. As we approached it from the outside we...
