I stayed here with a friend for 2 nights on our recent trip to Montezuma. We both agreed this was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. The hotel consists of several bungalow style small cabins, or casitas, that overlook the ocean. The casitas themselves were clean but basic. Ours had two separate bedrooms, a kitchen stocked with silverware,...

We absolutely loved Hotel Casitas Sollevante, we stayed four nights and loved every one of them. We liked being a bit away from town. We could hear the howler monkeys early in the morning and later in the evening before dark. We stayed at the end of the property where the resident pig Ponchita lives. She kept watch over the...

The place was beautiful , the staff was friendly and always attentive. Specially, Jose who worked the majority of our stay. The hotel is 10 min away from Montezuma Beach and 20 min from a near town. If I had to be a stickler it would be that the rooms don't have tv/cable. It mad the nights a bit long....

Great little hotel with a choice of studios or villa/apartments (we stayed in the latter, which I would recommend). Up on the hill above Montezuma is had its own little swimming pool and great views across the bay. Rooms are very comfortable and the villa apartments have a nice balcony with hammock in which to relax. Would stay here again...

This hotel was a good choice for the amount paid. The best part of our stay was the private large patio and the pool. Things that may deter other visitors (but okay with us) is the multitude of insects sharing the location and the access from town - you definitely need a sort of transportation. Some of us like to...

This was what I imagined a Costa Rican cabina would be like. Amazing views, beautiful pool, and wonderful staff. The cabinas are cute with nice little kitchens, common area, large balcony with hammock, and provides good privacy. If you don't mind the critters that wonder at night and a 3000 colones cab ride down the hill this place will be...

Our stay in this hotel was terrific. It's a marvellous location just above Montezuma, so you can enjoy the town and then experience a tranquil setting overlooking the ocean with an absolutely gorgeous view. There's quite a lot to do around Montezuma (waterfalls, hiking, beaches, surfing), and the staff were quite helpful in making suggestions and accommodating all our needs....

We had a fantastic time at Casitas Sollevante! The staff was welcoming, friendly and very helpful; they helped us with activity and dining recommendations and never led us astray. The breakfast (not included in hotel price) was good and is served by the pool, which is nice. The pool was lovely and our room (the upper apartment) was nice; a...

Casitas sollevante is only 10 minutes walk from downtown montezuma and it was great exercise walking to and from town. the property is lively with colours overlooking hills, surrounded by the sounds...
