There were lots of things to like about La Posada......... proximity to the park and beach, private bungalows with porch, a cute and friendly dog, the visiting deer, nice collection of DVDs, free calls to the US and Canada, and last but not least the relaxing setting. Having separate bungalows meant no disturbance from other guests. They build walls super...

Each time we have visited C.R. we have selected one new region to visit and then returned to La Posada for the 2nd part of the vacation. I can't add to what is already said over and over about the great staff who remain year after year because the owner is fantastic and they seem like a family. Because of...

If location is everything, this hotel has it all. At the very entrance of the national park this cosy hotel can be found. It feels more like a home than a hotel. Unpretentious. And with monkeys watching you as you eat breakfast. Manuel Antonio is a true adventure and this hotel made the trip even better.

It was out first trip to Costa Rica and decided to stay 7 nights in Manuel Antonio. After a lot of research we decided on La Posada based on the location and price. We couldn't have more pleased with our choice. The location is great, a short walk to the public beach and right at the entrance to the park...

My wife and I have been to numerous countries. We tend to stay at botique hotels, and La Posada was a great little hotel. It is very authentic, feels like home, but also has the conveniences we like. The breakfasts in the morning were very good. The service at the hotel was always very friendly and warm. The hotel has...

Overall, we had an excellent experience at this hotel! The location is great - about 10 feet from the Park entrance, and a short walk to the beach. There are a few restaurants by the beach, but not many. We found the beach in the park much nicer that the public beach in town, but it's not all that far...

We just returned from a ten day trip to Costa Rica which included four nights at La Posada. We chose La Posada because it is operated by an American and it is located right on the Manuel Antonio National Park boundary. We wanted an English speaking hotel within easy walking distance to the park, beaches, and restaurants. Mike Auvil and...

This hotel borders the Manuel Antonio National Park and is a 5 min walk from the beach. The night life in the area is not great but you can take a city bus for 50 cents (USD) and it's only about a ten min ride to the area where the bars and fancier restaurants are located up on the bluffs...
