This hotel has a great location right off the beach. Staff is friendly, and the place is tidy. This was a good value. That being said, it is very dated, and the beds are not comfortable. I like to sleep on my side sometimes and I woke up most nights with half my hand and arm numb from losing circulation....

Starting with a positive - the staff are not a problem here, what they have to work with is. The price I received for the room was very reasonable and communication via email prior to our stay was good. I was not expecting luxury, more of a place for us to lay our heads but I was kind of hoping...

Good stuff: Best: Loved our room's (#208) quieter location on the end closest to the beach with very little sound from the road and best patio view and sound of the surf through the trees. I enjoyed walking the beach, butterflies in the canopy, watching families on this quieter part of the beach and the gorgeous sunsets. We enjoyed the...

What I liked: walk to the beach, close to Manuel Antonio center, basic restaurant at hotel as well as at beach entrance, price was reasonable for this location, AC worked well; Negatives: tiny cramped bathroom, no bathroom counter space, weak shower, no windows that open, ocean view was obstructed by broken/messy patio furniture, room dimly lit, and sofa in room...

I rented a cabin in this place, because of its location. The room was good, but the cleanliness was not. Also at the Restroom we had some odor issues because of the poor sewage system of the place. If you plan to cook here, I totally recommend you NOT to do it! Because the rooms are really small for cooking,...

I love this hotel! Right on the beach, excellent value, great staff, so close to the national park, pretty pool, well maintained grounds and beautifully hand-built mosaic walk-ways and artwork everywhere. I stayed in this hotel many years ago, several times, and always loved it but returning to Manuel Antonio after being away for years, I was so pleasantly impressed...

We stayed there with two kids for a couple of days. The best about the hotel is its location with direct access to the beach. The rooms a quite spacious, there is a little pool. The kids took surf lessons direct in front of the hotel, prices were negotiable in a certain range.

Our family stayed here while our daughter was attending university, hoping to explore the country. Being from outside the country, we had to rely on transportation arranged by the hotel staff. Unfortunately, the staff scheduled a taxi through their hotel, the cab company was not reliable and we missed our reservation for the activity. The hotel charged us $160 for...

The hotel has a nice flair, especially the family room we stayed in. The bunkbeds could be built a but safer, though. There is no railing on the upper on. We had a nice view over the private resercat they are having there. You can access it for free from early morning until 4 p.m. Afrerwards you'll have to book...
