- Most of the staff are very friendly, in particular one barmen/waiter called Luis (Mesen) was very very attentive and helpful. He also gave us advice and information on the best times to visit the national park and beaches which was spot on.
- This hotel is less than 5 min

Dear Tom, We are deeply grateful for your extensive comment. We are glad that you liked the service from our collaborator Luis (Thanks for the mention). The proximity of Hotel Playa Espadilla to the beach and the National Park Ml. Antonio has always been a point in favor for the comfort of our estimable clients. We also felt satisfied that you liked the services of the hotel such as the pool, the cleaning in the rooms and the food of our restaurant. We will put special attention to our coworkers so they don't give the frosty impression you felt. The bathrooms are going to be renovated very soon.

Loved my time here at the hotel with my family. From our rooms to the food and all those who served us were absolutely wonderful and attentive to all our needs. We celebrated my mother’s birthday and the staff went over and above to make sure her day was perfect. Big thanks to Os

Small hotel with comfortable rooms, including a room with small kitchen. The surroundings are beautiful with view to forest with every now and then a monkey passing by and definitely some howling. National park is close by although too crowded if you ask me and too commercial. Co

Is it possible to walk to Biezans Beach from Hotel Plays Espadilla?
Yes, I think so, its a longer walk though...maybe a couple of miles if you go by the road/streets. It might be shorter if you are able to cut through from the public beach but I don't know if that is possible. The public beach is only 5 minutes from this hotel and the Manuel Antonio beaches are also quite close (20 min walk maybe if you go straight to the beach and aren't distracted by all of the wildlife in the park)but you have to enter through the park and pay the $16 entrance fee... But it is worth the fee, they are beautiful and calmer than the public beach because they are more sheltered.

Is there a hot tub?
There is no hot tub or jacuzzi here, but it's too hot and humid here in my opinion to want one. There is a jet in the pool on one side which is nice. The pool is nice and refreshing but the water is fairly warm, just cold enough to provide excellent relief from the heat. There are even bar stools built into the pool that let you have food or beverages on a counter near the bar.

Hello I am interested in staying at your hotel June 2-6th. I would be traveling with 2 other adults and 2 children, both age 6. I was wondering what our room options are. We would rather stay all together, a total of 5 of us. Thank you Ashley
"Best to choose a room away from the bar and swimming pool area"
"First floor is cooler."
"We had a corner room that allowed for windows on two sides. Very spacious and bright! "
"I dont think there's a bad room in the house. depends on the view you want."
"We preferred second floor rooms for less noise."
