Nothing fancy if you stay in the rooms by the reception, but they are spacious, clean, and cozy. The hotel staff is very helpful and kind, and you're more than likely to see some animals! There is an entire pool area that is adults only, which is nice if you want to relax by a pool where it's quiet.

We spent 10 days at this resort early October 2014. The way this resort is situated makes for gorgeous views of both the ocean and the jungle. It's a very plush setting with more monkeys than people for sure! The howler monkeys will wake you up early every morning. Cleaning staff are great. They work hard and do a good...

Manuel Antonio was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica and this hotel was a big part of why we enjoyed it so much. Our room was very nice and had a separate kitchen/dining area that we never really used. We did use the huge porch, which gave us a great view of the ocean and the sunset...

The staff at this hotel is what really made it special for us. A special thank you to Mauricio at reception for "Operation Monkey Rescue" when my son left his stuffed monkey at a restaurant off site. The hotel is a quick ride from the beach and just a short distance to lots of restaurants. Our room was a basic...

We LOVED this hotel...it was very close to the beach and Manuel Antonio (you do need a car to get around). We loved how it was perched on the hillside which made for great reviews. We had a great standard room with a kitchen and was very comfortable. They have the BEST adult pool overlooking the beaches and vista...which made...

We loved the tagline "still more monkeys than people", as we awoke to the sounds of howler monkeys each morning. This was a lovely hotel close to everything we needed. Overall, Manuel Antonio was a little touristy for our tastes. But, we appreciated the wildlife and the amazing beaches. We had a wonderful view from our balcony. Our studio room...

You definitely see and hear lots of monkeys at this hotel. The holler monkeys will actually be your alarm clock at 4-5am. We had the garden view efficiency room and wished we would have had the beach view for the price. Also the walls were thin and if your neighbors were not considerate you heard everything. The beds were comfortable...

We had a studio plus room, which was really comfortable and bigger than anything we have had in Costa Rica so far. It had a small kitchen, so we were able to make a cup of tea, which we appreciated. The view from the large balcony was beautiful. My only criticisms are that the staff, although they did nothing wrong,...

We stayed in the adult building - Coste Verde 2 for 3 nights and enjoyed our time in the Manuel Antonio area. The hotel has lovely views of the ocean and/or jungle and the grounds are beautiful too. On the property, we saw lots of monkeys, a sloth and an agouti along with birds and lizards. The rooms come equipped...

After visiting other hotels in the area, Costa Verde is definitively the best. The view from our room, the family pool and the restaurant are so beautiful. The staff is very, very nice. Breakfast was really good with many choices and great taste. Our room on Building B was big, clean, very comfortable. Monkeys came a few times to our...
