The location is 5 star and the room we had was maybe 3 stars, very old and outdated. If you don't mind a so so room then this place is amazing. Up on a hill overlooking the ocean, the hotel grounds are amazing and when we were at the pool monkeys came and hung out with us for a drink....

Those monkeys just love to come out and play, don't they? They are very curious little beings and like the attention. We're glad you were able to enjoy them and take home some great memories. Please know we take all comments very seriously and will look into your reviews regarding the room, as we strive to always better our facilities....

Had a great trip here May 25-27, 2014. Perfect location minutes from Manuel Antonio park. Hotel had a great free breakfast and we were able to set up a worthwhile tour for the park. The pictures you can get from a guide's spotting scope ( with an iPhone or regular camera) is worth the cost of the guide in itself....

This hotel was absolutely breathtaking! I saw pictures before the trip but when we arrived we were immediately in love. Even the cab drivers said it's the best place to stay and top of the line... We were so excited we picked such an awesome hotel. Every single employee is happy and so nice! They all spoke really good English...

We arrived after a very long bus ride to be greeted with non-alcoholic sangria and fresh cool towels. The views are breath taking from all areas of the hotel property. The breakfast buffet had a huge assortment of local cuisine and very fresh and clean with great outdoor eating area with views. The private beach was a nice walk and...

We stayed for 3 nights at a different hotel in Manuel Antonio which turned out to be a mistake for our family (note: loud late-night parties at Mango Moon). We packed up our kids and went to the Parador and it was one of the best decisions we've ever made! We were greeted with wet towels to clean our hands...

We stayed at the Parador for 1 week. It is a beautiful hotel in a extremely beautiful location. Rooms are fantastic. We had a few little problems with our room BUT were moved to another room. The second day of a four day stay here, I got pretty sick with a gastro-intestinal bug. We ate only at the hotel and I was careful to drink only bottled water, but still got ill. I called the front desk on a Sunday and asked about getting a doctor to see me. Within an hour I had a doctor...

Parts of the hotel facilities were fabulous (the swimming pools; the proximity to the natural forest and the view) but equally there were disappointments too (we felt we were mislead over the time that our room would become available at check-in and in general and the staff that covered breakfast both days that we stayed there were not friendly or...

We're very sorry to hear about your less than stellar experience, especially with the staff—we will be sure to address this with them as service is one of our hallmarks.
