We stayed here for two nights In a private room. The room was VERY small and VERY hot as it was under a metal roof on the top floor. We asked to change to the ground floor and upgraded to air con, but it felt like 90USD for the two nights was steep for a room so basic. The room...

Positive things: Nice enviroment. After the whole day walking everywhere you'll really appreciate the pool and the big garden they provide, where you'll meet people or relaxing yourself. The location is probably the best one. Around 40 mts to the National Park Manuel Antonio and 200 mts to the beach. the price is very low, but to be honest, I...

I stayed here for two nights in a single room. The room was very simple; a bed a little table and a fan. Both room and toilets were clean. The hostel has a great location! It is right in front of the park and it takes 5 min to walk to the beach

+ VERY close to the park and a public beach. + relatively cheap. - El Faro is a hostel managed in the image of a cheap motel. To label it a hostel is accurate only due to the availability of dorms and that is where the characteristics of a hostel end. The culture is lost here. No casual nature. No...

Huh... before I booked the hostel I read through the rather mixed reviews here on TripAdvisor. Finally I gave it a try and I don't regret it... I stayed in a dorm. Yes the dorms are really basic and a bit run down. The beds were old and the mattresses were very very thin. The "safe" was rater a wooden...

I went to Manuel Antonio and after almost a week in different hostels, I was running out of cash 😂 so I decided to stay here since the prices are cheap and its the closest hostel to go to the park, They don't give breakfast, showers and bathrooms are shared with the entire hostel. But its pretty close to everything,...

We stayed here for two nights in a private room for 25$. The price was really good and the hostel is super close to the park entrance. However, the kitchen is not well taken care of. You can't use the fridge because raccoons come by every night and make a mess in and around it and eat the food. There...

This hostel is perfect for who whant to visit the national park because it is just outside the entrance of the park. It is very colse to the public beach and also to many bars and restaurants. The room is really small and rooms at the ground floor have no privacy because the common area is just outside the door....
