We paid $24 for a private double with shared bathroom. Room has no bin, nothing to hang or put your stuff on. The reason for the terrible smell that hangs around the rooms and bathrooms is twofold: 1) the entire building hasn't been cleaned for ages and 2) there is an open sewer. On a positive note: the owner (older...

The hostel is locates about 100 MTS from the beach and 300 from the park. Price was 6,000C per night for a private room. Breakfast is not included but can be purchased for 2,000C. The breakfast is a huge two plate breakfast of fruit and eggs with pinto.

We only stayed one night due to horrible bathroom smell. They looked clean, but smelled like the sewer. Didn't want that more more than one night. Aside from that, the mattress was worn and sunken in, exactly like National Park Backpackers down the road. Which is where we stayed for 3 more nights. Free wifi but doesn't work in the...

We arrived in Manuel Antonio and checked out 2 other hostels but were turned off when they said the beach was a bus ride away. Got a cab down to the beach, and the driver dropped us off here at Costa Linda. Very happy he did so because this place was not only cheaper, but closer to the beach. Rooms...

I stayed there for a week. I have to highlight the staff there, in particular Oscar. He is one of the sweetest persons I've met. From the very first moment he was willing to help giving tips about every question you can have and if he don't know the answer he will sort out they way to find it out....

Actually stayed at Hotel California which is a short bus ride away from Manual Antonio National Park so this review is purely based on the breakfast. It's located along the main road towards the National Park. The menu for breakfast is basic but the food was wonderful for the price. The first plate included fruit and a pancake and the...

In my view, Costa Linda does have an endearing charm about it. The main hotelier is really helpful and friendly, but also extremely busy and so spends a lot of time running around doing almost everything in the backpackers. This place is cheap and only 10 mins from the front of the Manuel Antonio park and 5 mins from the...

Costa Linda hostel, although not the neatest place, offers great value for price. For $12/night you can have your own private room, with a ceiling fan. The hostel offers large breakfasts for less than $3. Great location: it's close to Manuel Antonio National Park and only a few minutes walk from the beach. A good budget hotel.

Worst hostel ever. Where to even begin.. There is NO KITCHEN. So you have to eat out for every meal (right there $12/night isn't even worth it, as you spend at least another $10/day on food if you only eat once). The rooms are absolutely disgusting, you don't even want to put your bag on the ground. Our room also...
