We were disappointed with this lodging. The photos looked so much better than the actual place. The town is run-down and has poor restaurants. There were some scary looking characters loafing around the beach at night. The best thing is its proximity to Manual Antonio National Park.

We did enjoy this place but we had to the cross the road to actually get down to the beach - as we had 3 small children this was quite dangerous. You pretty much have to cross on the corner - there is hardly any side road so was dodgy. We were always nervous making the crossing - especially as... More

Very small hotel, walking distance to the beach. We had the Presidential apartment, which was huge (2 bathrooms, kitchen), but not very well maintained. The roof was very thin and made out of metal and you could hear monkeys running on it at night..

Recently spent 5 nights here and really enjoyed it. The location is ideal as it's a few minutes walk from the beach, about 5 minutes walk from a small area of restaurants, supermarkets, and souvenir shops, and about 10 minutes walk from the entrance to Manuel Antonio national park. The rooms are clean and pleasant and the breakfast is basic... More

The hotel is nice and close to the beach. The staff was really friendly. During breakfast you can see the monkeys jumping from the trees. The national park is close by and its about 10min walk to the park.

This hotel is across a busy road from the beach and is definitely in the jungle. A troop of howler monkeys passed through the trees outside our room while we were sitting on the deck. Would not recommend breakfast, even though it is included. Lots of stairs (50 to our room) so if you have a lot of luggage ask... More

Really enjoyed my stay here. Front desk is very helpful...all together the staff is amazing. They will help you with whatever one needs. It's a small hotel but it has the best location. It's footsteps from Manuel Antonio Nacional Park. Close to many restaurants, but hidden enough to make anyone feel that they are truly in the jungle. I will... More

I recently stayed here while visiting from florida. This place was in a great location and the owner Chris is super friendly and knowledgable about the area. Can be a little noisy between the monkeys and the motorcycles but neither of that is the hotels fault. Rooms arent super nice but for the location and price point this is a... More
