My wife and I found staff at both The Preserve and Karolas Restaurant incredible. From the warm welcome of the front desk and gate staff and the great help of Dennis in arranging activities to the quiet work of the housekeeping staff and the cheerfulness of William at Karolas and the delicious creations of Chef Erick, we really enjoyed our...

We couldn't be happier that you and your loved one had such a fantastic stay with us at Los Altos. We're thrilled that you found our staff so warm and welcoming. Thank you for the kind words regarding the beauty of our nature preserve, and of course we can't wait to have you two back on your next trip to...

This hotel was very nice. Very spacious and roomy. However, we were very disappointed with the extra charges they tried to charge for children. When we arrived we were told it would be $140 plus tax per night for our two children. First, why advertise a 3 bedroom 'condo' and then charge extra when we were already paying $517 a...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay with us. We value any and all feedback and we would certainly like to take this as an opportunity to clarify how the charges work for additional guests and children. First and foremost, we would like to say that in no way whatsoever are we charging hidden...

We loved our stay at Los Altos! The accommodations were fab! The staff was awesome! Restaurant- delicious, pool- great! Beach, eh not so much. A 3/4 mile hike down to a small rocky slice of beach is what ya' get, but the pool, and public beach can be a substitute.

We're so thrilled that you and your family loved Los Altos! Brings us so much joy to hear when guests feel right at home at our luxury Manuel Antonio getaway. With regard to the beach, we're sorry you didn't find it to your liking, but we've come to understand that it's not for everyone. However, we would like to say...

This place is amazing. The elevator opens into you own unit consisting of three bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. It made our stay in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica that much better. Great place to stay if you"re traveling with family or friends. Definitely worth every penny.

My family really liked this new condo facing the ocean. Our condo was about 2500 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The elevator opened up into our room which is a 1st for me. Great kitchen, bedrooms, comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms and showers, huge terrace. What more do you want. The downstairs staff service was 5 star. I...

Our family of 5 (3 teens) just vacationed at Los Altos July 25-31st. We were so pleased with our condo. So spacious and plenty of room for everyone to stretch out! The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. We planned all our excursions through them. So helpful! Eating dinner at Karolas each night became a family favorite because...

Just great, the room, the location, the service, the pool, the sunset, the nearby surfing breaks. Best option to visit Manuel Antonio, 200% recommended, no doubt! The room was incredible, AC, great wifi connection, amazing view and an incredible bed and bathroom.

The quality of the rooms and amenities of this property are excellent. Unfortunately the service from the staff in both the hotel and in the restaurant falls short of what it should be at this price level and brings down my overall rating of this hotel. The staff seemed to be somewhat bothered with our requests for information and help...

Knowing how how much time, energy, focus and passion we put into creating the ideal guest experience, it's of course difficult to read a review in which a guest felt less than accommodated. We take issues regarding our guest experience very seriously and always welcome our guests to communicate with us honestly and directly when it comes to an aspect...

This was our first visit to Costa Rica and I don't think we can do better. Los Altos was incredibly clean, spacious, and wonderful. Our family of 5 (2 parents, 2 teens, 1 pre-teen) had plenty of room to spread out in the 3-bedroom condo. The kitchen was well-stocked (and great for the kids who didn't want to go out...

Demanded refund for loud repeated hammering noise from 6:15 a.m. for 2 hours. Repeated complaint each day of 4 day stay in a VERY expensive space. We six paid thousands. Space, drinks, meals.
