San Bada looks impressive at first glance. Its location next to the Manuel Antonio park and within walking distance to the beach is it's best feature. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself, however, is a bit decrepit. While our room was generally acceptable, the pool area was grimy and rarely had a clean wiped down table....

We stayed here one night on a Caravan bus tour. The hotel is within steps of the entrance to the National Park. We did a 2 hour hike through the park with wonderful views of rainforest, ocean, animals and birds. What a great first visit to Costa Rica! Our room at the hotel was spacious, clean and comfortable with the...

Stayed here for one night while visiting Manuel Antonio Park. Hotel is right at the Park Entrance and is convenient for that reason. We were not thrilled with our room, however. It was very dark and had a very distinct musty smell, probably due to the high humidity in the area. When we checked in, even the bed sheets felt...

Dear CArOlT4242014, Thank you for your feedback! We apologize that you did not experience the personal touch and enchant of our Hotel. We feel that 1 night is not enough to explore the beauties and enchants that we can offer, such as the service, facilities and activities! In the other hand, 1 night metric is not enough to give an...

There is much to like about this hotel where we stayed for four nights. The location is very convenient, central and right beside the National Park. The infrastructure (rooms, pool, restaurant) is modern and offers a lot. Some of the front desk staff were just great but others not so helpful (about things like excursions and tips about getting in...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review! We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed our hotel. Thank you for pointing out our rooms and balconies. My favorite thing about the hotel was the customer service. The rooms were clean, towels were plentiful and the location to the beach and national park was a few steps away. Pros - The staff took the time to remember your name and to always checked to make sure you were having a good time and if not to let...

This is right by the entrance to Mario Antonio Park. It was awesome, parking out car, putting our luggage in the room and then hiking around the park for several hours. The location could not have been better. The rooms were clean and very large with a safe in them. I liked the high ceilings. And the upstairs bar and...

Hotel San Bada is at the entrance of the national park. We were able to see a howler monkey (congo), many Capuchin monkeys, Iguanas, Toucans and parrots. The free breakfast buffet had lots of selection with a person to make your own omlettes. The rooms and grounds were always clean. The rooms have a great view of the trees for...

I checked into this hotel for two nights. Place was way out dated and over priced your paying to be next to the park basically. Better to stay at a newer hotel grab a cab to the park.
