located close to entrance of manuel antonio park. Roof top views were amazing while watching the sunset. Convenient to just walk to entrance to start hike in the park. It is the hotel the closest to the park entrance.

Clean rooms, OK bathrooms. NO AC where meals are served. Pool is nice, Entrance to national park is right at this hotel. Nice town to walk around in, good people. Desk folks were ok and very helpful, just don't do the meals here.

How safe are the surroundings ? Shouls I take my own beach towel?
The area is very safe during the day. There are great places to eat...and a path to go to the public beach. My husband and I walked to the little downtown in Manuel Antonio in the evening...but we were always back by 9, or took a taxi. Many tourists walk at night.

Is there a hair dryer in each room?
Checking their website for this info is a great idea! My traveling companion thinks there is a dryer in each room, but doesn't really remember.
