Best thing about this hotel is its proximity to the entrance on Manuel Antonio. Really does make a difference. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - calling cabs for us, making reservations, trying to get us into our room as early as possible. Wendy in particular was very helpful before our stay with helping me arrange transportation...

My wife and I were part of a tour group and did not spend much time at the hotel. However, we found our room to be clean and comfortable. We heard monkeys in the early morning and saw numerous parakeets outside our room. We enjoyed the deck and the bar area at night. The hotel has two pools - one...

We travelled around Costa Rica with 3 families: 6 adults and 7 teenagers. Hotel San Bada was our last stop. We were very pleased with this hotel. The rooms were large - and nicely appointed - and the deck was a nice bonus. The restaurant was also good. There is a water cooler on the main floor near the elevator...

My daughter and I stayed at the San Bada during the Easter break. The room is beautiful and we had a spectacular view from our 5th floor room. We were woken up by howler monkies at 5am in the morning along with birds chirping. There isn't any music at this hotel because it is beside the National Park. So if...

Staying at Hotel San Bada was a lovely experience. The staff go above and beyond. We stayed with our 8 and 12 year olds. Wendy helped us arrange several excursions by email before we ever arrived, and they ensured we had everything we needed for those. The 6th floor is a lovely place to have a drink and read before...

This hotel was very nice. I'll give the con first and then the pros to the hotel. The only negative of the hotel is that it seems to be the host hotel for Caravan Tours. The drawback to this is breakfast and lunch. The "regular" breakfast for the hotel was at 7 a.m. The tour bus breakfast was at 6...

This is a modern, clean, comfortable hotel, very conveniently located at the park entrance. The pool is clean, large and interesting (tho' not a diving pool), with a pool bar and waterfall. I stayed here with a Caravan tour.

This is probably the best located hotel.....steps away from the National Park. If you stay at any of the other hotels, you will most likely have to walk a ways, or take a taxi or bus. You can hear the sounds of the night life in the park from your room. So amazing! A couple minute walk from the beach....

Very nice room. Nice swimming pool area. Perfect location, literally next to the park Manuel Antonio, and a very easy 5 min walk to the beach. Also next to restaurant and shops. Staff at the hotel was super friendly. One staff member ran after us while we were climbing in the car one evening with 2 umbrellas as they thought...
