Well positioned for the National Park, just a short bus ride. We passed quite a few hostels on the way between quepos and Manuel Antonio that were greater than walking distance from anything useful but this one has two supermarkets within striking range and even a cash machine if you walk a little further (Please note you can only pay...

unfriendly staff, moisy dorm, wild nature around is nice but if an attempt was made to embed the facilities in an harmonic way, it was not successful. You can hear the noise from the road. You must take a bus to the park or 30 minutes walk along the road. Breakfast included: pancakes and coffee, but I never ate such...

When I was here they were doing some pretty major construction works (October 2015), which meant a lot of noise and the kitchen not being available too much. That being said, it was a decent place to be with basic facilities. The pool looked very depressing and I didn't see anyone going there

However, I stayed 2 nights and there is a gentleman who works there I caught blatantly and red handed standing outside the window to the dorm I was staying in with a female friend...

Stayed in the hostel in a 8 bed dorm for two nights. Room was okay with fans and lockers. There's a great openair kitchen with huge fridges and you get free pancake breakfast with pineapple, coffe and tea. From the kitchen/ community area you have a great view and you can easily get in contact with other travellers :) About...

Stayed at 10 different hostels in Costa Rica and this by far was my favorite. Meet a lot of good people and some good friends. The bar had an amazing view and the prices were fair. It has a very unique yet welcoming atmosphere.

There is a bar down the hill from the hostel next to their pool that plays extremely loud music til very late. I had a private room facing the direction of the bar. I sleep with a sound machine and earphones that usually block out noise and all I could hear is the bass of the music and couldn't sleep....
