I'm looking for a surf camp as a beginning surfer to stay at for about 1 month. Do you recommend this place for that long? Was it quite spendy? It's difficult to see what their monthly rates are. There are so many surf camps in CR that it is difficult to choose. I will be traveling solo and am female, 28 y/o. I'm fine with the hostel living, any way to learn how to surf in CR on the cheap. Any suggestions and tips you have would be awesome! Thanks for your time :)

Zopilote is a great place to start! I absolutely loved it there. While I do have some experience surfing, there were people there that had never been on a board and they did great! The only thing I would recommend is that you be open to travelling around Costa Rica a bit as well. Once you start chatting to people you will hear about good spots up and down the coast.
