Hi Bianca, you posted your review on the wrong business. We are Zopilote Surf Camp located in Costa Rica not in Ometepe/Nicaragua. regards

We had such a good time here; it's a beautiful spot (especially in rainy season) and run by people who want to run a fun camp. Our experience here was in stark contrast to our stay at one of the larger, more commercial and more sterile surf camps (situated nowhere near witch's rock FYI). The choice of equipment and depth...

They have a huge collection of different kind of boards to rent and all are in a good condition. The surf spot isn't too far away and not even crowded. The surf house is a nice and relaxing place to stay and a bit away from the dusty and busy St.Teresa. It's a place where I felt extremely comfortable. I...

Surfing with friends.. that´s what Zopilote Surfcamps is all about. Great times on a remote beach and empty lineups. Food is amazing and the jungle feeling can´t get any better. Surfs up all year long. The surf is advanced and beginner friendly and the crew will hook you up with boards and surf school if you need.

I've been in a couple of surfcamps world wide but Zopilote had my heart immediately. A lovely camp with very nice and cool staff, mostly run by Simon, two surf guides and another two youngsters who help out in the kitchen and camp life. The beach and the surf break is awesome, it could not be more beautiful; I've already...

Zopilote was my final stop on a month long surf trek down the coast of Nicaragua and Costa Rica. My only complaint is that I didn't have more time there. Its a step up from camping in open air bungalows with the ocean in sight. NOTHING beats walking 100ft to the beach in your pajamas to have a cup of...

We had great surf and food at the beginning of the rainy season. Simon, the owner, is a great cook. The fresh, traditionally fished tuna was a blast. Surf lessons were in very small groups of 1-4 people and therefore pretty effective. I really liked that you can just grab a board and walk to the spot whenever you like....

Fell in love with this place back in 2010 & happy to see that 3 years later it is still a beautiful place that still attracts very nice people. Brought my husband with me this time & stayed in town but visited Zopilote for surf, breakfast & dinner & it's all still as good as I remember.

We just came back from a one week surf package at Zopiliote and have nothing but good things to say about the experience. Simon Stone and his staff offerred all the support required for the guests to focus on the important things of a surf vacation-surf and relaxation. The meals were of excellent quality and the portions were more than...
