Situated at Punta Banco, Ranco Burica has the best accomodation spot along the coast! Really nice and clean rooms, "private" surfspot at 2 meters walk with perfect waves (beginners and advanced) and great family style meals and vibe (thanks to the couple managing the place). Horseback riding is a must along the beach and the Indian reserve nearby. The sound...

I had a amazing time at the rancho with the delicious food and the best views. Surfing with Harley, yoga with Femke and horseriding with Wilbert. It is such a nice place to relax in a hammock or at the patio. I will defenetly come back to this place if i ever come back to Costa Rica. Thank you Femke...

in a place that has a postcard paradise setting, there's much room for improvement. Trying to manufacturer a 'community' feel, one has to wait for everyone to arrive at the table before eating, sure. a blow of the conch shell signals dinner but when everyone arrives and only speaks dutch, 'community' is not really the vibe. be prepared to feel...

I should start saying I’m from Riviera Maya, Mexico and been in the tourism business all my life, from Luxury boutique resorts to jungle lofts Riviera Maya has it all. The reason I say this it’s because being use to this kind of environment I was very surprised to find such an epic piece of territory down there at Rancho...

Some places will stick with you forever. During traveling you always hope to find a place where you plan to stay a couple of days, but if you let them, could stay there for weeks. This for me is one of them. I visited the rancho at the end of my two months trip. During this trip I was hoping...

We had a great time, the waves were great, the food delicious, the managers and people that work there very friendly, the rooms very comfortable, the place great, if you go to Rancho Burica there is no need to visit any National Park! The prices very accessible!. It´s a must if you go to Costa Rica.

Before I begin, let me just say the end result of this trip was one of the best ever. Good friends, great waves, and so much laughter. All of this outweighed the cons of Rancho Burica. There are definitely nicer places to stay, but if you don’t mind glamping this place will suit you just fine. The Good- The flora...

I went to the Surf With Amigas retreat in Costa Rica. The actual location was in Punta Banco at hostel-like co-op called Rancho Burica. On the first day, they tell you it will be the best week of your life. I thought it was a bit of an exaggeration, but even months after the trip, I'm still thinking about it...

I just returned from my 3 week trip to Costa Rica and I was one of the lucky ones that choose to stay my last week in Rancho Burica. Literally between the jungle and the Pacific, this place is paradise. I stayed in the tidy and open dorm, wich will give you the feeling of total freedom when the sounds...
