Loved the intimacy and family atmosphere of Rafiki Lodge. The beach was amazing...and quite the special place. Lots to do at the mountain lodge. Would recommend. Waterfall walk is not to be missed....as well as the horseback riding in the mountains.

We are spending two nights of a five night trip to Costa Rica in the Rafiki Lodge. Can you recommend us some recommendations for the other three nights ? We are traveling with our sons ages 12 and 21.

Hi, The Savegre Valley brings cool breezes from over 12,000 feet down to the camp, so it is quite pleasant at night. Rafiki is not really all that buggy. You will find the beaches in the country to have more bugs. We... More
