Food is fabulous and menu has a whole page of vegetarian options. (The coconut ice cream made from coconuts cut from the tree is just to die for!!!) All...

This place grew on me and my wife. It was so quiet so tranquil. I wanna thank the amazing staff: Xiamara, Louis, Edmond, Pricilla, Willis, and the nice ladies who cleaned our room. You all made this place truly worth it. The food was 5 star every night. I could not believe how amazing it was. The pool was always...

Dear atticfloc, Thank you for a really helpful and thoughtful review. I am delighted you had such a great time. I really appreciate that you took the trouble to mention many of our staff members by name. I also appreciate the constructive criticism. It is a lot rarer and more valuable than pure praise. The comment about the space under...

The rooms, staff and guides at this resort are wonderful. We had the best 3 nights of our time in Costa Rica at this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and our guide, Angelo, took us on some memorable river trips. Lovely relaxing times in the pool overlooking the river, watching birds and iguana with fresh coffee on tap. Bliss....

Dear Caroline D, Thanks for taking the time to write us a review. I am thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay and the tours with Angelo. Angelo was born on July 7, 1976. This hotel was fine, people were really nice, maybe if it was on the beach somewhere it would be 5 stars. But if you are going to Torteguero to see the turtles, the park, a canoe ride, this place is not really convenient. We hardly stayed there, checked in at 3, left at 4, to see town, eat and see...

Dear Ken2fortax, Thank you for the review – I’m glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We’re especially pleased to read how much you enjoyed your hatching tour, that’s an activity we really recommend if people are up for it. But you forget this silly thinks when you wake up in Tortuguero. A must...and this is maybe the best option in the park

We stayed here three nights on a package deal with Costa Rica Expeditions, which owns the lodge. Al meals were included and they were creative and tasty. Local ingredients are used with copious fruits and veggies. The chef, who is Costa Rican, is very inventive. The lodge has guides that run wildlife and turtle tours. Our guide for four tours...

Dear Ram_Sharma, Thank you for the review – I’m glad you enjoyed your stay with us.
