Located in a nice quiet area at the back of town, but still just a few minutes walk from the waterfront, Indalo Hotel was just about the best place we stayed during our trip to Costa Rica. Our spotlessly clean superior double room was quite large, very nicely designed, with good attention to detail. Bed was comfortable, there’s ample space...

The rooms are clean. Nice sized fridge in room. The garden is lovely. Nice little cat that hangs out. Can hear the birds and howler monkeys in the morning. Backs right up against the rainforest. Beds are VERY hard so if that causes problems for your back maybe stay someplace else. Shower is fine, no place that the water isn't...

We stayed here in 2015. We loved it so much that we came back in 2017. We stayed for 11 nights. The owners Susana and Jose Manuel are awesome! They are always there to help and give you advice so you can make the most out of your stay in Puerto Viejo. They can book tours for you. The rooms...

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!! 5 stars!!!These people know hospitality!!! My boyfriend and I traveled all around Costa Rica for a couple weeks and this was our last stay. What a blessing to have been able to stay with these fantastic people! It really felt like staying at a family members house; fresh fluffy towels, our own private porch, a gorgeous garden,...

This is a small, clean, friendly place. It is not the Ritz but it really fits the community. It is a perfect match for this beach village. It is a little hard to find because of the way the streets are numbered. The rooms are compact but neat. Each room has its own little patio. You often see people either...

Modern , quite and clean. The rooms are spacious , with fridge, with good A/C and private bathroom with hot water shower. They clean it everyday and provide soft fresh towels. Beautiful garden. It's located away from the busy center and still walkable, less than 5 min to the centre and beach. Friendly staff. A lovely place to stay.

Been travelling Central America for three weeks and this is by far the best place we have stayed. We arrived in Puerto viejo at 9pm and the owner came to pick us up from a convenient store in town. Our room was serviced every day. Each room has a deck with chairs. Breakfast was scrambled or fried eggs and a...

We stayed for nine nights and used it as a base for exploring the surrounds. A perfectly relaxed place, in-keeping with the Caribbean pace of life, this place in run by a amiable Spanish guy who gives you your own space whilst making you feel at home. It is situated in the back corner of the town, which is nicely...
