The room was really nice and clean in the middle of the great garden . The pool is excellent. Breakfast is ok - nothing special . We did not try the restaurant for lunch or dinner . People were very nice .

Hurricane Otto arrived in the carribbevn just a few hours after we did so all our experiences of Cariblue were through a very wet lens. Our room was a first floor bungalow, very spacious and with a very large and comfortable bed. The en suite had just a shower, no bath and was adequate without being plush. Views from the...

This was a very nice gated place with guards at night, although we never felt threatened or scared at all, and we walked around at night quite a bit. Very good free breakfast, dinner was a bit pricey but very good, room was nice with a huge bathroom. We were 2 couples, we got rooms 201 and 202, unfortunately we...

Restaurant is unreasonably expensive. Very pretty grounds amd the restaurant next to the entrance is actually really great. Service was good and the hell is incredibly close to a beautiful secluded beach.

Dear friend, Thanks for your comments, we taking note about our restaurant prices, as far as we know our prices are fair, but we going to check again, so thanks again. Best regard.

Great combo of Caribbean and jungle in a sophisticated jungle chic resort. Awesome, beautifully decorated rooms, 2 pools, surprisingly delicious food, and finally El Mar Caribe. Too surreal to explain. When traveling in this part of CR, check out this place. walking distance to many restaurants and the night life in Puerto Viejo.

Things did not start well as I had booked two nights and then reserve the third, it turn out that whoever was on the phone did not score the third and by luck I got the last of all the hotel (last in availability and literally on location). The customer service is definitely fair to poor, except for a couple...

My husband and I chose Cariblue because they have air conditioning. The property was very nice. The rooms were not elegant but were consistent with the pricing. We had a room facing the beach which was at the far side of the property, so it was nice and quiet. The beach was across the main street but the street traffic...

This hotel was just right for a family like us. The rooms were comfortable and the dinner was very good, with excellent mojitos. The pool was very nice and the gardens were lovely, with wildlife spotting opportunities as well. We saw sloths, armadillos and leaf cutter ants, all just in the grounds!

Gotta start with the fact that we were there during the off-season, so the pool bar and massage weren't open. But the place is beautifully landscaped. Breakfast at the restaurant is great. And the wildlife - unreal. If you didn't want to do anything on your trip other than relax at the hotel, you can still experience everything - monkeys...

We stayed at the end of the season and it felt a bit like it. Parts of the resort hotel were closed and looked a bit tired. Staff not exactly going out of their way to be helpful! We hired bikes from the hotel and cycled into Playa Cocles and Punta Uva for better family friendly beaches which was great....
