This review is for Cicleta Veggie Bar which is the restaurant within the hotel. This place is excellent! A proper vegan restaurant and the only one in the area. My wife and I are super grateful to have stumbled on it. It is relatively new and there is nothing online and not much for signs but we found it! Yay!...

The kitchen needs some serious tending to, but the general atmosphere is awesome. I really liked my room - I slept really deeply - but I did hear some other guests in the dorm talking about cockroaches in their room. Wifi is great. Showers are cold (but still quite nice!) I met people really easily. The vegan restaurant attached makes...

I spend only 1 night in hostel Puerto viejo. It is a simple budget place with no comfor but acceptable for short stay. Rooms are bit dark, there is no any furniture, just bed and a bench. Showers and toilets are shared, not so perfect hygiene, no warm water. Kitchen is bit dirty, fridge is overcrowded, no much place to...

My friends and I booked this hostel last week for one night at short notice. When we arrived they had accidentally sold our triple room at the same time as we booked online so they kindly offered us two huts for the same price. This is my first experience of staying in a hostel for years as I am more...

Just 12 days..... The rooms are comfortable, practical, good place for backpackers. Close to the beach, shops. The kitchen is very well suited, although only one is cooking place, sometimes you have to wait for it, while the other finishes. The guys are cute, helpful. Next year, same place.

For the price we paid (5000 colones per night for 2 adults and 2 kids) there is nothing to complain about. We stayed one night, the room looked a bit old but clean, beds were comfortable. It had many power outlets which was a plus :) The open area was nice and big. There were a pool table, a balance...

I was sceptic from the beginning but stayed one night because I had had trouble finding a place with free beds. Here, a lot of them were free. Why? Let me tell you: Uncomfortable beds, thin "walls", awful bathrooms and the kitchen was NOT fresh. Also, the next day my bed was crawling with ants. Worst hostel I've ever stayed...

I definitely agree with the gal below me, this place used to be a sleezy dump, but I stayed here again recently and it's so much more clean and fun than it was a few years ago. I stayed in a private room with my friend, the two beds were really affordable and I like it much more than the...

The lady at the reception was very nice and kind from the beginning. She asked as for how many days we want the room (private with bathroom and shower), we said 2 night, she thought a little bit and said 40$ and we said Ok and gave her the money. We put our stuff in the room, and when we...
