Korrigan lodge was the second to last stop on our honeymoon in Costa Rica, I must say it was our favorite stop of all. We arrived late in the evening by bus and where greeted by Marise at the entrance, she had been expecting us and made us feel welcome immediately. Shortly after Marise gave us a quick rundown of...

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at the Korrigan Lodge the last week of March and had an amazing time. We took a midnight flight from Denver and arrived in San Jose around 5 AM. We hired a private shuttle to take us to Punta Uva and arrived around 10:30 AM. As soon as we turned off the...

The Caribbean coast of Costa Rica has become my new favorite travel destination and the caretakers of Korrigan Lodge played a huge part in making it so. The beaches are beautiful, the people are friendly, the cabinas are immaculate and where else can you stay with roaming howler, spider and white-faced monkeys swinging over your roof. While I was here,...

We just returned from 7 days at Korrigan Lodge and had a fantastic stay. Marise and Pierre are wonderful hosts and offer outstanding and attentive service to your every need. They offered terrific suggestions on where to go and what to see and which restaurants to try. Pierre took us on a walk thru the grounds and pointed out monkeys,...

We have nothing but good things to say about our stay at Korrigan Lodge. Erwan and Ingrid were so warm and welcoming, and were more than willing to tell us all about local attractions and restaurants. They even made phone calls to arrange trips for us. We had a great trip, but Ingrid and Erwan's hospitality and delicious breakfasts really...

Every morning at the Korrigan Lodge started off with a delicious breakfast made by Marise and Pierre. They were so warm and friendly we felt as if we had known...

Korrigan Lodge is the perfect place to stay in Puerto Viejo (Punta Uva). The bungalows/huts are very private yet you have the opportunity to interact with guests from the other three bungalows at breakfast every morning, if you like. I'm very picky about cleanliness and there was nothing that didn't meet my critical expectations. There's plenty of space and the...

This was an amazing place to vacation! The lodges were beautiful, clean, and roomy! The staff (Pierre and Marise) were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Not to mention their breakfasts were amazing! They went above and beyond for all the guests! Pierre even took us on a mini hike the morning we got there to show us all...

I have nothing but positive comments to add to the chorus. There is nothing like falling asleep in the rainforest and waking up to the sites and sounds of howler monkeys and Bossom (sp?) the dog on your doorstep. What a great place. I must say I was sort of sad to read some recent reviews of people who said...
