Beautiful grounds and bungalows/chalets, very good pool with swim up bar (if open), much better than average accommodation with good quality air conditioning, great food and the most helpful and welcoming owner you could wish for make this a near perfect place to stay. Its a bit further from Cahuita than many but taxis are plentiful and not very expensive...

Incredible friendly stuff that provide an excellent service; most beautiful location with a very large and clean fresh water pool surrounded by a magnificant garden; this location seemed to inhabit more species than a national park with sloth, howler monkey, porcupine, bird, iguana and the house cat "Reio"; food was delicious; accomodation nicely integrated in jungle / garden with hammock...

We had booked a room at Suizo Loco but we did not stay due to some unexpected and unfortunate travel changes. The management at Suizo Loco graciously allowed us to cancel our reservation without penalty. They were extremely helpful and kind. We appreciated their generosity. I can only imagine that staying with them would have been amazing.

The resort is surrounded by lush green trees and foliage which are home to all kinds of wildlife. We saw toucans, black and green poison dart frogs (very cool!), lots of lizards, monkeys and sloths (both 2 and 3 toed!!) It felt and sounded like we were staying in the rain forest which was amazing. The pool has been done...

I can't say enough great things about this little resort... Yeah, the cabins are fairly open air and you will make good use of those mosquito nets over your bed (I got tangled up in mine one night after too many beers) and you WILL be woken up by howler monkeys at 5:00am... But that's why you're visiting Costa Rica,...

We came to the east coast to see wildlife and staying at this lodge we got our wish! The grounds keeper, with limited English, was able to point out sloths, toucans and other interesting birds so there was no need to visit the National Park or the Sloth Sanctuary. We loved the quietness of the place and the easy walking...

We visited for 3 nights. Rooms are spacious, have a mosquito net, a hammoc and a private terrace. A fan keeps the room cool. You can take the dinner of the day in the hotel if you want. We did this on arrival and enjoyed our full menu (starter, main dish and dessert). We were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed...

We think this is the best choice in Cahuita ... It is peacful, absolutely not crowded and the people are nice. It is close to the town and the Sloth Sanctuary. In our opinion it is better to stay at the swimming pool than to go the beach...

Would definately recommend staying here! We stayed for 4 nights and the wildlife is fantastic! We saw sloths everyday, one with a baby, heard howler monkeys everyday, we loved waking up to this amazing noise! Saw lots of birds, frogs as well. The staff are lovely, Daniel goes out of his way to make up happy and help you out,...

We only spent one night here but enjoyed it. One of the grounds keepers, who did not speak English, saw us in the yard taking pictures of birds. He came up, all smiles, and said something in Spanish, of which we only understood the word two. He motioned for us to follow him and he brought us behind one of...
