I arrive with my family and they help us a lot with info about the village and the area. The place is clean and the room we use was very peaceful and nice. For the price is a very good place with good ambient and friendly travelers. In the restaurant they make good pizzas and good pasta. They got also...

I honestly don't like leaving bad reviews because sometimes things just go wrong and its not a businesses fault. However on this occasion I feel like I must pre-warn people of the dodgy shower my partner experienced. After turning on the shower, sparks and smoke flew from exposed wires. Obviously concerned for our safety and the fear of the bathroom...

Dear Joseph You are right, we don’t actually speak British English nor we are natives, maybe that’s why our collaborator’s explanation wasn’t clear to you. He explained that the smoke you saw is a normal result of the kind of shower that uses a low-voltage electric heater to warm the water. Therefore, there is no danger of electric shock or...

The hostel presents itself as a jewel already from the street: colored striped painted gates, huge wooden house, crystal-clear swimming pool, curious restaurant full of trinkets, odds and ends, huge trees and a garden full of plants and flowers. Well these is also one of the cheapest hostels in Cahuita, and the rooms are totally worth it. The personnell, consisting...

the hostel is situated in a beautiful location, the natural park and Cahuita centre are within walking distance. The owners are very friendly, patient and helpful, they were always polite and help me by giving me useful information on places to visit. There is a very good restaurant, but there is also a well-stocked shared kitchen. It is frequented by...

I was amazed how nice this place is. Almost to clean for me. I didn't want to spill anywhere. Friendly Italian owners, always welcomed me with a smile. As a hostel owner myself, I have no problem sending all my guests here

This italian owned place is new in town. It's just around the corner from the bus station which is very conveniant. The dorms are spacious and rhe shared bathrooms clean. There are hot water showers. The pool looked clean and nice although I didn't use it because of heavy rains. The garden area is really nice with cacao trees and...

As soon as we arrived at this hostel we were welcomed wholeheartedly from the owners. They're an Italian family that bought it last year and are very friendly and helpful - Luca gave us lots of tips on things to do in the area. The hostel itself is very well taken care of, we were in a double room with...

Friendly and pleasant place. We stayed at the hostel only for 2 nights as we were travelling and going towards the end of the holiday, but Luca, Cinzia, Stefano and Alessandra made us feel absolutely at home since the first moment we arrived. Luca is like a local guide, and can give u many information of the places around. The...

Stayed for two nights while visiting Cahuita NP. Run by friendly italians the place has just what you need. Clean, pretty, good location. We dos not try their food because the caribbean-creole restaurants in town are a much better choice. Great value too.

I was a bit wary considering some of the previous reviews, but things have changed, and like an older reviewer wrote, the place is under renovation. Pros: It is close to the bus stop, next to it. It means it is a bit farther away from Playa Negra than other hostels and hotels, but decently close to the entrance of...

Thanks Caramela , your comments help us to improve . For this reason we have decided to no longer offer these services for free . But for those who ask politely often...
