This hotel is tucked into a side street in Tamarindo and the grounds are an oasis in this busy little city, the rooms are very basic but clean. The outdoor restaurant, Monkey La La, was good, and became a fun bar spot at night. Rates very reasonable.

We had a great weekend stay with friends at this nice hotel; originally it was just an option but when we got there we realized how cool it was the hotel, the rooms are like small apartments, nice accommodation, good showers, a pool surrounded by nice gardens with a local breakfast included, also the location is great, so quiet near...

We stayed here for six nights and had a really great stay at this hotel! Pros: - great location close to the main strip - I enjoyed the pool, it was in a beautiful setting, not too crowded, and felt really cozy - friendly staff who had a good sense of humour and willing to go the extra mile for...

Me and my friend stayed there in August and the staff was really nice. Dimitri told us everything we needed to know about Tamarindo, where to eat good, where to go out and a couple tips to enjoy our short time in Tamarindo. The room was clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast, and really close to the beach and the restaurants...

Glad we found Pasatiempo in the overwhelming Hotel offer that Tamarindo has nowadays. It is a few hundred yards away from the beach, but still walking distance. We really enjoyed the garden, it creates this kind of green paradise atmosphere. The rooms are super nice, spacious, luxurious, tastefully decorated. The food at the restaurant is great, with light lunch and...

Our family of four stayed for 4 nights while exploring the Tamarindo area. Pasatiempo was a great get away from the hot and dusty streets of the town. The pool and garden area were well maintained and nicely landscaped. We were in a unit with two bedrooms and a shared bath farther towards the back of the property. The air...

Wonderful, quaint spot that made you feel you were off in a tropical oasis far removed from the Tamarindo craziness. Great, friendly staff, really nice home cooked breakfast and a good spot for kids. Short walk to the beach - stay here if you want a place to remember!

Booked 2 nights at Hotel Pasatiempo and had a very nice time! It's a 4 minute walk from the beach! Our room was secluded from the others with immediate access to the pool and bar! We did not eat at the hotel but did have a couple of drinks poolside! The bar tender is extremely attentive and even brings out...
