First off, it was such a relief to have a place that had AC. None of the other hostels I stayed at in Costa Rica had it. The owner was awesome. Correspondence before I go there was great. I stayed two days more than I was planning and it wasn't a problem. Awesome location. Met a lot of great people...

I only stayed here for 2 nights. But before I even gotten there, the staff I corresponded with were super helpful. They even told me about other parts of CR in which I was staying. I felt like I could ask them anything. I was initially reluctant to go there to Tamarindo hearing it was quite "touristy" which it was....

We got in contact with Blue Trailz a few days before we flew into Liberia, and they organized us a shuttle transfer as well as found us a room at another place as their's was booked. We got there the morning after, stored our luggage, and went straight for surfing lessons with Kurt who is a great and very relaxed...

I planned for being there a week and ended being there three weeks! This was by far the best hostel I have been throughout my trip in Costa rica. It is in great location from the beach about 10m maybe. The owner koen is amazing, he really eased my trip in CR. from arranging transport from the airport to every...

Stayed only one night in a private room however the owner helped me my entire stay in Tamarino. First in finding another place for the following night, then I could still use their Wifi for internet calls with a very good connection. Then he offered me to store my luggage while I was surfing and the third hotel, where stayed...

We stayed at Blue Trailz for 4 nights.. After travelling around costa rica we ended up wanting to come back because we loved it so much. Koen (owner of the hostel) and all staff were fantastic! Before even arriving, Koen helped us arrange a shuttle from the airport to the hostel. Everyone took good care of us and Koen even...

This is by far the best hostel environment I've ever been to. People were friendly, the owner is attentive and friendly, and has actual hot running water!! I stayed at chocolate hostel the night before coming here and all day, I regretted not coming here faster. I pay the same amount here as I did at chocolate but now, I...

The hostel were very good beforehand organising a shuttle from San Jose. I stayed in one of the dorm rooms, each had their own small kitchen, bathroom, comfy beds and power sockets etc. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful e.g. drying wet clothes from trips to the beach and getting cold water on hot days. Best thing is...

I stayed with a group of friends in on of the private rooms, accommodation was nice and really good value with two doubles, bunk bed, kitchen and bathroom. My only comment would be the safe is not actually attached to anything so in theory someone could just pick it up and walk off with all your goodies! Not that the...

I've been travelling around Costa Rica for 2 months now and I have to say this is definitely the cleanest and friendliest hostel I've stayed at- the staff was awesome and they cleaned the rooms daily-as well as it was one of the most centrally-located hostels I've stayed at. I went with a group of friends, but managed to meet...
