We spent a wonderful week at this hotel in January 2017. Since our party included 2 couples and one baby, we chose the larger 2-3 bedroom building. It was located about 25 steps from the pool which was nestled beautifully among the gardens and surrounded by sweeping palm trees. The grounds and pool were meticulously maintained each and every day....

I had a great stay at the Tico adventure lodge. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were clean. Wifi was great!! Which can be hard to find in Costa Rica! My only thing I would say would be for them to have larger safes in the guest rooms to be able to to store laptops. Overall, would...

Great spot in Samara. New construction, very nice rooms with porches or patios. Outdoor community kitchen is a nice spot for coffee and meeting other guests. Very friendly and helpful staff They have a large yoga space, and what appears to be an active, busy massage staff

This property, run by an expat American/Canadian couple, is hard to describe. It comprises a number of sizes and styles of rooms, suites, and a house all arranged around a small but super peaceful swimming pool and lounging area. There is a covered outdoor kitchen for communal use. It also has an open-air exercise space that offers yoga classes (for...

I am so grateful to have ended up here! This lovely property has a Swiss Family Robinson vibe blended with an amazingly curated jungle garden. The remarkably kind, authentic owners and staff make this a truly standout place. Tico has the trappings of a higher end space with accommodations that fit all price levels. And it's close to the beach...

We stayed in a double room with balcony from November 27 until December 7, 2016. What a great place! Very relaxing, nice pool, close to everything in Samara. Weather was great, it rained 4 or 5 nights, but days were clear except 2 days. Loved the hammock on the porch. Owners were very helpful and accommodating. If you stay in...

I stayed one night here and the room was ok with a decent balcony and hammock. But when I checked out in the morning and said I was travelling to Montezuma, the American ex-pat owner (I think his name was Chris) told me to drive the coast to save time. It's nearing the end of rain season and when I...

Lovely place. Each bedroom seems to have a balcony with a hammock - which took a bit of practice to get out of ! You can drive into it to unload / load, but you actually park out on the road. Apparently the hotel employs a security guard, so it's safe. Coffee is provided in the morning, but you will...

We stayed here for a few night while visiting Samara. Nice, fun, quirky place to stay. Close, but off the beaten path a bit. You felt very much at home. The staff can arrange any ]types of adventures and recommend things to do.

Well maintained property, designed for privacy and comfort. The grounds are beautiful. Loved our shaded private balcony with hammock. Ample space for four to relax. Saw lizards, frogs and howler monkeys right from our deck. Only a short walk to all that Samara Beach has to offer. Would not hesitate to stay again. There is occasional noise from the highway...
