Stayed here for a few nights with my son. Chris and his staff were very welcoming and willing to answer questions and share ideas. We enjoyed our stay very much. I will be staying there again. I will note that ants can be a problem tho not one worth staying elsewhere. Also in some rooms you're gonna need to forget...

We stayed here for 2 nights in the twin room, which has a cabin type bed as well as a single. Positives: great location - short walk to everything. The grounds are really nice and there's a nice pool. A shared kitchen (but we didn't use so can't comment) and yoga and massages offered. Staff are also really nice and...

Location: This hotel is located on a busy road on the east edge of town. Although it seems far away from the beach, everything in Playa Samara is pretty close together. There are easy routes to take on quiet roads to get to the beach and the main area of town with restaurants, shopping and stores. Room: We had the...

Stayed here for 8 blissful days in the main house. Beautiful oasis of a place with various types of accommodation. A lovely pool, a communal kitchen, yoga and massage offered and a general sense of tranquility. Staff all terrific and helpful and we all felt as though we didn't want to leave....

Just returned after spending 13 days at Tico. Stayed in the Studio apartment, which is pretty terrific. The kitchenette is great for prepping small snacks and toast for brekkie, for bigger meals the outdoor communal kitchen was a high light for us and the group we stayed with. Fully loaded with anything you could need to make your own meals....

Staff and owner went out of their way to be helpful. It is located on a busy road but after a day or two you get used to it. Its mostly only...

We stayed at the Tico Lodge for three days in Jan 2017 and enjoyed every minute. The rooms are clean and comfortable , the staff friendly and the owners help with any questions providing any information and tours. The hotel is on a main road but you wouldn't know it, the place is very quiet. It is a short stroll...

My family just spent a glorious week in the three bedroom guest house at Tico Adventure Lodge. Super clean, comfortable and pleasant experience. The owners are around so everything works and if it doesn't, they fix it immediately. Lovely pool and garden, friendly guests (often families with kids) which make it interesting and fun. Best part is that it is...
