Stayed from Dec 10-12 2018. This is a timeshare, but we booked it through Bookings.com. The resort is fairly large with shuttle going all day to take you to the beach area or the pool area. Room was closer to the beach area. Nice and...More
When we stayed here before the room was acceptable.. not this time. The rooms are worn and shabby and lacking comfort and good lighting. The beach is amazing and the shuttle service around the resort is great. The food for breakfast was awful. Sausage was...More
This place is wonderful. The breakfast fee was included with what we paid on here and it was totally worth it. It's maybe 3-5 min walk to the beach where you can hang out and walk around and swim of course. The people were super...More

The room was very “tired”. Mattresses were tiny and old. Tears in the couch cushions and the toilet flushed properly when it felt like it. The entire unit needs an overhaul. The grounds and staff were very nice.

October is during the rainy season (it runs through the beginning of November) on the Pacific side of Costa Rica. We were there November 3-17 and had a few rain showers. It was in the 90s with about 80% humidity. I'd bring a raincoat and water-friendly shoes. It shouldn't affect your enjoyment of the rain forest or cloud forest tours. And you'll be warm even in the rain if you take advantage of the resort's three pools or the beach.
