Me & 3 friends went in this hotel for the last day of vacation in Costa Rica. The hotel is nice but we were very disappointed due to the breakfast. We paid for the breakfast in the tariff and in the morning we understood that the kind of breakfast was the worst. If you want a normal breakfast (americano) you...

The hotel was in a great location, about three blocks away from the beach. Their is a shopping center, shops, pharmacy, tourist activity centers, and restaurants by the hotel. The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. Hats off to and Tico's and Tica's.

This hotel is in a great location. Only a few minutes walk from the beach and that is the only positive thing I can say about this place. Other than the location, everything else is mediocre. The have live music in the night. Other choices in this town are probably no better either.

It's probably the dirtiet place I've been to since I travel. The first room, the toilet did'nt work, the one they offered to replace had the scent so much mouldand mildew that we refused it. They offered us a superior room, the only thing superior about it was that it was on the second floor. The bottom of all the...

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Other than that nothing else in my opinion!!! It's very loud, music playing all night from other rooms and from bars across the street (till 3am to exact). The rooms are dated, kind of dirty and spiderwebs behind the furniture (I noticed this when I moved the night stand to...

Stopped here based on TripAdvisor reviews. Large motel chain style rooms. Clean, good air conditioning, but no frills. Had to make several changes to the reservation and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Coco is not my favorite beach in Costa Rica, but if you're here, then Hotel Coco Beach is a good place to stay.

The staff at the Coco Beach Hotel are great. Problem is the (mis)management. The rooms are clean, the food is good, reception tries to make it work. And for the most part, they do. My problem started late in the day that I returned from a day-long tour to the rain forest. My radio-frequency proximity-card style room key would not...

The hotel is OK. It's got great location in centre of town and 200m from beach. Nothing fancy but cleanliness is OK, not great. Be weary of the staff, especially since they have a guy there helping you book excursions, you will be introduced to him at the very start. Book with him and all you will get is a...

Awesome, friendly staff. No wait time. Clean, nice view of the main drag. Food was delicious. Prices were great. Wife had the French roast which was more like Texas toast but was good. Served with a side of fruit, bananas and papaya. Coffee was dark and rich. I had the Costa Rica breakfast. Eggs were perfect as was the Pinto...

Friendly people, but the rooms are just rooms. Didn't care for the pool to be in the middle of the restaurant. I would love to revisit Coco Beach, but might choose another place to stay. Plenty of good shopping in the area and plenty of places to eat or drink. This town is much more friendlier than Jaco.
