Eight room private villa overlooking Playas del Coco. First class from top to bottom. The all-inclusive food was great, and the service was even better. We had our privacy when we desired same, but enjoyed the interaction with the other guests at meal times. We took several of

We had a completely delightful three days at Villa Buena Onda. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The room was spacious, beautiful, and very comfortable. We worried that an all-inclusive menu might be limited or boring, which wasn't true at all. Everything was fresh,

Hi Lorraine, Thanks for your question. The northwest region of Guanacaste is the driest part of Costa Rica, especially between December and April. For September one can expect sunny hot & humid mornings with quick afternoon showers every other day or two. Sometimes, it rains in the evenings. Either case, these scattered showers are the perfect excuse for a power nap in the tropics - especially if one's been around scouting the area with tours. These are ideal moments to relax and recharge batteries to keep enjoying your stay. You are coming at a great moment! We are very excited to meet you at VBO in a few weeks. Regards, VBO Team

The hotel is fairly isolated but the hotel shuttle will take you into town. Taxis are also available. There are shops and restaurants in town, very touristy.

Hi blueskies! May marks the transition from the dry season to the rainy season in Costa Rica. Usually the day starts sunny and then some afternoon to early evening rain. But the Northern Pacific is the dryest area of the country so you can expect a couple days without rain. It is a great time to come, less crowds, prices are down and scenery turns green and lush. Hope this information helps!

Buenos días Kim C! This is Gaby Sanmiguel with Villa Buena Onda. I am very happy to answer your question! We recommend Diamante Adventure Eco Park. You will ride through their own trails surrounded by dry tropical forest and they also offer the option of beach ride. Hope this information helps!
