Got a clean room at this centrally located hotel in Liberia. It was easy to find, known by taxi-drivers and 5-10 min from buss station. Nice and helpful personel, some of them were english-speaking. Good common-areas. Would have been nice with air-condition however.

Stayed here for 10 days with a group of friends. The hotel staff was phenomenal, very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were large and really tasty. The rooms, while small, were very clean. There's no A/C, but I didn't come here to sit in the A/C anyways. It's super close to the city center and lots of restaurants, etc. can't...

We stayed two nights in this charming town hotel. The hotel has a very nice patio with a terrace. You can have an adequate dinner and staff is kind. They make really good smoothies and cocktails. In our room the smell of the sewerage was significant and not to avoid. The rooms do not have airco. The hotel manages about...

We only stayed in Liberia to fly out the next day so we didn't explore the town much and after a long Tika Bus across the border, we weren't too fussy with a room. Hotel Liberia was easy to find and the front desk were helpful. Our room was very simple with no A/C (A/C rooms available for extra), a...

This historic hotel on Calle Real has lots of character and charm if you can live without A/C. I stayed in one of the original rooms, near the reception desk (Dec 2015). There is also a newer addition to the hotel; however, I recommend an older room which is bigger. The ceiling fan offered some relief to the heat. Lots...

Very cute hotel building located right in the center of Liberia. However, the rooms were very, very small. The temperature in our room was about 10 degrees more than outside the room. The heat was unbearable and the rooms do not have air conditioning. Also the WiFi connection was very weak in our room. In the bathroom there was only...

The staff was friendly at Hotel Liberia. It is located in a great area. It is close to the main square where families hang out at night. There is a cute courtyard in the middle of the hostel. The room was very simple and tiny. The room was very clean. There was even a little lizard outside the room! The...

Cheap on every sense, crappy cold shower, flimsy bed, lumpy pillows. It looks OK from the outside and the central yard is nice but that is about it. No A/C, tiny room, and the town itself has nothing to see. The food is good, but expensive. Staff is nice and attentive.

Dear Gray_Cancun, We appreciated your comment as clients opinions are always important in our hotel. We are a small familly company, working hard to constantly improve for guest satisfaction. Definitely we have a budget kind of market with rates really affordable as well, those who need a place to spend the night during their way to/from Nicaragua or those on...

I stayed at Hotel Liberia for 3 nights upon arriving in Costa Rica. I got a friendly pick up at the airport, which the hotel arranged. The hotel itself is in a great location, very central to the main square and to shops and restaurants. The hotel is very cute and has a very authentic feel. The staff are very...
