We stayed for New Year for one night, and had a wonderfull experience. Don't expect a fancy place, but tons of fun if you like swimming pools, hotsprings and water slides... Staff was super friendly and very helpful.

This place is immense. A little more commercial than we like but nice just the same. The best thermal baths are in the back. Private and surrounded by trees. The first bath has a waterfall that is really hot. We went late at night so that we were nearly alone, nothing but relaxing. We also got take food that was...

My Tico family took me there, they always go to beaches in the evening. Well the drive in was pleasant as the air cooled and foliage increased. A nice rainbow greeted us! This place surprised me, really expansive with pools for all sizes and water comfort levels. There are places for toddlers, kiddos and adults to enjoy safely. The slide...

It is a wonderful place to spend a day or to stay overnight. There are many activities to do. The restaurant is good but great for the prices you have to pay, but the options are limited because of the hotel location. During the weekends it could be very crowded by nationals.

In between volcanoes you'll experience an unique sensation when visiting Thermomania. I should highlight the hot springs (inside the hotel area), all the surrounding exotic nature and the very kind staff. Although I was working the most part of the day I had time to do the next activities: bird watching, exotic animal's watching (I saw two white-throated capuchin and...

We were enjoying the day with three families and kids from three different countries. We went to the restaurant to have lunch and were told we could not push any tables to sit together. We asked why not... and were told 'You can't touch them. We were told there was one big group table but there was already four people...

Wonderful mountain view room and friendly staff. The place is geared mostly for families and is quite dated. But we arrived late and enjoyed the "adult" hot springs under the stars almost alone. Wonderful experience. But too many kids for us during the day. There is a "farm". But small cages and I really despise animals in cages. I though...

The place is nice, a bit crowded with costaricans. The view of the volcano is awesome. Water temperature is spot on. Should have more pools, as the property is very large. The restaurant is overpriced and not so good.

We were here in the off-season and booked this hotel after driving up and asking to see the rooms. They let us stay with our small dog, who even got to be in the restaurant with us. There were ants in our first room and they easily moved us to another one. The pools were fantastic and warm, and the...

I'm so sorry. I wish I had a better experience, but this was quite a disappointment. The pictures online are misleading. The food was microwaved from a bag and was way overpriced. I have been to many places in Costa Rica, and I hate to say this but this was an awful experience. I know we are in a tropical...
