This is beautiful and fun place to visit in Costa Rica. There are lots of activities available along with very nice staff. The cuisine was local, fresh and delicious. The rooms were spacious and the showers were unique. The view from my room was spectacular. The spa was first class along with the entire Resort.

I would certainly recommend the Lost Iguana Resort & Spa! I am actually going to wait until all of the renovations are completed, and head back to see the updates, which I am sure will be beautiful. The Lost Iguana is a tranquil, quiet, forest retreat. The room was beautiful, with a lovely bed (great view), outdoor balcony hot tub, huge...

We chose Lost Iguana from their Groupon sale... and couldn't have picked a more perfect spot for our anniversary trip. There were plenty of chances to relax together, and we also did 4 excursions offered through the hotel. The companies we dealt with were excellent. The staff at Lost Iguana was very attentive (our favorite is Jordan at the restaurant!)....

My fiancé and I spent the first week of Sept'12 at the Lost Iguana. We have nothing but good things to say and would go back in a heartbeat. The hotel rooms are truly in the rainforest- you feel like you are staying in the wilderness yet a short walk away are fabulous amenities. The staff and overall service is...

I would highly recommend the Lost Iguana Resort & Spa. It's a quiet, fancy, luxurious, tranquil and beautiful place. The rooms are very nice, the property is beautifully maintained and the scenery is amazing. The food at the restaurant was very good as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful in finding activities for us. Also, their spa was...

We stayed at the Lost Iguana for five nights. The first night we had a regular room which was very nice and the last four nights we had a two bedroom villa as there were two couples. The master bedroom was really nice with an outdoor shower and king bed. The other bedroom was obviously for children with two double...

I cannot say enough good things about our stay here. My boyfriend and I stayed in the luxury suite which had a direct view of Arenal, rocking chairs on the patio where we enjoyed drinks while taking in the view and watching the fireflies at night, and a private outside jacuzzi bathtub. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, particularly...

Our family had a wonderful time at Lost Iguana. We were especially impressed by the outstanding customer service. Prior to our arrival, I contacted the hotel to ask if their restaurant could accommodate my husband because he has to eat a gluten-free diet. I were pleasantly surprised at the care and concern that the hotel took regarding this issue. Even...

My mom and I stayed in room #6 which had 2 full beds and a jacuzzi tub (which was never used), and a great view of the volcano. The hotel is located 25-30 minute drive from the town. I recommend renting a car - the drive is a little rugged compared to the states, but if you concentrate you'll be...

You fly to Costa Rica, take a three hour drive up, down and around and end up on the unspeakably beautiful grounds of the Lost Iguana. Which, as my daughter commented, sounds just like the Rainforest Cafe. Except its not. Its full-on, authentic rain forest. The attraction of Lost Iguana is in its individuality, its lack of the sanitized sameness...
