This is a huge facility and actually pretty fun, even for a 59-year old couple! There are several different types of restaurants and many, many pools, with about half of them being fed by natural hot springs. The pools are man made, pretty tastefully, and several are connected. We had these pools to ourselves many times. We even made a... More

This is the place to go if you have an active family. We loved the tubing and horseback riding-- all on property. There is a fun and fast waterslide that splashes you down into a 93 degree mineral pool. The kids loved it. After you are done with your hiking or other adventure there are countless thermal pools to relax... More

This was one of my favourite hotels I've ever been too. There was lots to do here, but also plenty of places to relax. The property was amazing. It was lush and had amazing views of the volcano. We stayed in the Toucan building and the room was exceptional. The view while just lying in our bed was so great,... More

The Springs in Costa Rica is an amazing haven of relaxation and beauty. The design of our room, which was the baseline (Vista Guest Room, first level), felt as if just as much thought and beauty went into the design as any other venue at the property. Our room, with a king bed, had a bathroom that almost 1/2 the... More

My husband travels for a living and said this was the best hotel he has ever stayed at. It was beautiful!!! The people were so friendly and the staff were great! The tubing was exciting and fun. Even our 7 year old talks about that adventure. The zoo was really neat and you could take pictures of the animals from... More

We traveled to Costa Rica in June 29-July 9th. We stayed at the Springs. Our room was the Two Bedroom Oropendola Suite (2 Levels). Perfect for a family of 4. Our view was just breathtaking! We had our space and the kids had theirs. Everyday our room had a beautiful arrangement of flowers. All the flowers were from the property. Just... More

This place is the next best thing to paradise! We had our own villa. There is free WiFi. The food is excellent, but the best part is the hot springs. Sitting under the waterfall is better than any masseuse! Beautiful place

Awesome resort that my family LOVED! They had everything on-site including their own private zoo with animals that the owner saved from being euthanized. The hot springs pools located around the grounds were amazing. There's even a slide for the kids to enjoy. There's tubing, horseback riding and more. It has a fabulous view of the volcano as well. There... More

Probably a 20 minute shuttle drive from the airstrip. The location is great - you really don't need to leave. You have a perfect view of the volcanoe - well when its not misted over. It rained a lot while we were there but that wasn't a problem as the hot springs are great for rainy weather. You can simply... More

The hotel was as beautiful as the brochure. The staff was very attentive all day long! The day trips were full of excitement! I'd highly recommend this resort for a peaceful getaway. The huge spacious rooms were most enjoyable. The jacuzzi tub was a big hit for my teenage son. Julia
