Now looking at the pictures, I don't even know if there was a pool ?? However, I can certify that there was no waterfall ! Not from room # 2, nor any other room, because I checked all the rooms. The first night, we spent some time "fending off" the real life bat - was about mouse size, with wings,...

We came to this hotel when it was dark and it was raining cats and dogs! But we got a warm wellcoming and we could take what we wanted to drink in the bar and just write it down on a list. The very small cabins were in wood. Two windows with glass. The others without glass only with nets! The...

We absolutely loved this place. The owner is very hospitable, and made us feel very welcome. He is a great cook. There is a nice pool to relax and the cabins are everything you need. I recommed staying here. I do think you will need a car to get there.

Gilberth is an amazing host, a kind person and a perfectionist when it comes to cleanliness. This place is one of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed. Imagine birds at your windows a hot tub looking over the beautiful valley. Go hiking above to see Tucans. The food is wonderfully prepared by Gilberth.

Spent two nights in these cosy cottages. The place has a stunning view over the countyside landscape. The cottages were simple but clean. The host, Gilbert, really added his peronal touch an helped us with everything we needed. Our main purpose for the stay were to go rafting in the Pacuare river, and the start was not too far away....

Pacayitas. How do I begin? Under a strange use of words we decided to stay not knowing how far it really was from the town of Turrialba. After doing the reservations, we called and he said it would be better to take a taxi. We then paid the taxi. It was a 40 minute drive. But the first ten minutes...

I practiced yoga every morning on the terrace next to the pool overlooking the mountains and surrounded with the sounds of lots of different birds. We stayed 3 nights at our quaint little cabin in an area of CR where I once lived on a remote farm. The cabin was sufficient and had rustic charm. The common areas are open air. There is now a small swimming pool w/ a great view as well as the large hot tub. I think you must pay an...

We fell in love with this rural, mountain community, incredibly kind and generous host, and rustic, charming lodge, complete with swimming pool, hot tub, and delicious home-cooked food. Tons of beautiful birds, an incredible view of the valley, and a clean, organized lodge all make us want to come back next year, which we are already planning to do. In...
