Great views of the volcano as well as the town below in the valley. Stayed two nights. Restaurant food was good, service was Great! Room was only so-so. Still, I'd recommend stopping here if in the area. Family run business since late 1960's.

We stayed there for two nights to go rafting. The stay was not really pleasant even if it was not awful. The bedroom is clearly dated and is not clean. Sheets were ok clean, towels had marks and holes. This hotel has clearly not been renovated for the last 30 years. The upside is that it was quiet during night,...

We booked 1 night in this hotel and it was really the best one of our trip! Ancien colonial house, this is the paradise for couple but also families. In the middle of the wild nature, it is a very charming place. I will recommend to anybody to stay there. There is a beautiful waterfall near to it, totally wild...

Turrialtico is a great quiet little lodge and restaurant about 10 outside of Turrialtico up in the mountains. Great view over the city from the restaurant and the big deck. The rooms are clean and simple. There is no air conditioning, but in the cool and dry mountain climate it is not needed. The restaurant is excellent with great food and...

We were here with a soccer, missions trip and had an amazing overnight stay. The chef prepared mouthwatering dinners and desserts. The owner is knowledgeable and very engaging with groups, plus his English is superb. The rooms are clean and modern and the mattresses are comfortable. The walk in showers in the bigger rooms are tiled and have ample hot...

I ended in this place by chance but I'm glad it was great for the night I stayed it's pretty basic and laid back but at the same time relaxing and service it's good. I would recommend it. Wake up early and enjoy the sunrise it's also around good places for white water rafting.

This is a very rustic structure with thin walls and floors, lots of nice open air public space with fantastic views. Noisy highway nearby and long way from any other services. Rooms OK for the price but food is expensive as it is generally in CR. Watch your bill when eating and drinking.

We had had a long day of driving and were ready for a stop. We arrived at the hotel with no reservation and were happy to hear they had a room available. The room was great - very clean, spacious, quiet and had amazing windows that made you feel like you were in a tree house. The room was not...

We stayed here for a couple of nights in mid-August, 2015. The Lodge is a ways out of Turrialba, but the bus to Siquirres goes right past it. The room was lovely, with an absolutely gorgeous view of the town of Turrialba down below. The food in the restaurant was delish...great steaks...and the hospitality offered was second to none. Couldn't...

My fiancé and I stayed 4 nights with the lovely Turrialtico family. Our room was perfect for our needs and had a whole wall as a window from which we could see the forest. They were kind enough to allow us to stay with our loving American Stanford who made friends with all of the lodge's rescued dogs. We all...

“The less expensive rooms offer the best views, but are above the restaurant. Spring for the more expensive if you want to sleep past 7am.”

“Try for rooms 14-18 and you'll have a quiet room with a beautiful jungle/garden huge window on one entire side. Good sized rooms.”

“Check the rooms, before checking in. The top floor rooms would be good for morning coffee with a view, but see if they are big and clean enough. No views from the motel style rooms, I think, but am not sure.”

“If you stay in the lodge for the quaintness, be advised that the walls are very thin. You will hear your neighbors and the diners below and they will hear you. The rooms in the extensions are much quieter.”
