We enjoyed our stay here. Clean, basic rooms, lovely grounds, good restaurant with delightful breakfast. Popular with Europeans also. Near all area attractions. Helpful, friendly staff. If you want to enjoy wildlife while leaving a small footprint in the land, this is a good place to do it.

This is an eco lodge with breakfast included and the option of dinner as well. The meals were excellent, mostly served by the super-pleasant Daniel. The cabins was comfortable and clean, with bird-friendly landscaping. The howler monkeys and birds started calling before sunrise and we could watch birds from our porch. You can book tours through the lodge. Both the...

We booked on an early morning bird watching activity whilst in Costa Rica on holiday. Gustavo was a great guide, he used an app to capture the birds we saw and then emailed on the details to us later the same day. We saw so much, Gustavo was obviously passionate about his job and this showed in the time he...

We had a very nice view from our room, which was surrounded by hummingbirds and the occasional passing coati! Shuttle service was very useful, and the hiking trails available were a lot of fun. Definitely climb cerro chato and check out the lake at the top!!

We spent one night here, in a lovely cabin, on beautiful jungle grounds. The included breakfast was excellent. The night tour on the property was convenient, well-priced, and worthwhile - our tour guide, Francisco, was very experienced and knowledgable. The biggest drawbacks were only having wifi in the office and restaurant, and not in the cabin (which we knew in...

3 nights at this wonderful place were a real highlight of our Costa Rica holiday. At 5:30 the sound outside just rose to a crescendo as ciccada and frogs got into gear..magical. Gorgeous vegetation and wildlife all around. You are out of La Fortuna so nothing to spoil your enjoyment of the natural world. We loved the wooden hut with its...

What a wonderful opportunity to get away from the noise of the surrounding tourist attractions in the Arenal/La Fortuna area. The Arenal Oasis guest huts are clean and quiet, surrounded by lush secondary forest. The sanctuary is home to numerous birds, bugs, frogs and lizards, so there is no end of interesting wildlife and jungle sounds. Staff is friendly and...
