This hotel is just about 7 km from the town of La Fortuna. Very authentic Costa-Rican experience/feel. Beautiful lush grounds. Long drive way into the property toward the cottages, so no road noise what-so-ever. Just the chirping of numerous local birds. Nice views from everywhere. Big comfy cottages and nice bathrooms.; pleasant local decor and furnishings. A little dark inside,...

We enjoyed the swimming pool and the hot springs here! The grounds are beautiful and the views are amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful and it felt very connected to nature. We went hiking at the national park to the lava fields at arenal, which we enjoyed. The hotel is a taxi / drive away but that wasn't...

So relaxing and peaceful - the grounds are well kept and lovely - and, on a clear day, there is a wonderful view of the volcano. The included breakfast is perfect, fresh and tasty. The only reason I gave a 4 * was for the rooms that we stayed in, the noise from other guests in the rooms beside us...

We stayed for two nights in march. We were 3 and received a huge room with two one double bed, a single bed and a bunk bed. Unfortunately the room smelled very damp. But I suppose being in the middle of the forest with hot springs all around makes everything very humid. We heard animals all around in the night....

Spent two nights in the Hotel Kokoro while exploring the sights near Arenal volcano. We really enjoyed watching the beautiful birds on the hotel property--best spot was right outside our cabin, #15. We spent many hours in the pool and hot springs area--watching the birds, leaf cutter ants and visiting with other guests. The breakfasts were good, plenty of fresh...

My family really loved this place. We had three kids with us (the youngest was 4), and this was one of their favorite places. The staff was friendly, breakfast was great and filling, and the pool was beautiful. The hot springs are simple, but free and on site. We enjoyed hanging out in the lobby in the evenings using the...

Breakfast was OK - not great or deluxe but no one left hungry. The front desk did not speak much english so be...

Kokoro is a beautiful resort with access to the hot springs right on premises. Our stay was very comfortable, the resort grounds were lush and beautiful, the breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. Our plans got changed and the staff were very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend the place.

I give this hotel a 2 only because the staff was nice and the breakfast was decent. The room is just a room. If you want a hotel that makes you want to stay active all day not making you feel like you need or really want to go back to your room then this is the hotel for you....
