The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds and pools were well-kept and beautiful. They have a sushi bar in the pool! It was delicious. The room was light and clean. We stayed in a Junior suite Cabina. There were small ants that would come in and get in any food left out. That was really the only negative...

We've had a great 3 day stay at this resort. Every cabin faces the volcano. Cabins are super clean, air-conditioned. Service is very friendly. The kids swam in the thermal pool while we enjoyed the swim up bar. Luxury accommodations with laid back vibe. Both restaurants are open air with great views. Gardens are well kept and gorgeous. Breakfast buffet...

We arrived late evening after arriving Liberia late afternoon. Our greeting during check-in was a nice surprise after a lengthy car ride. Our room was a Junior Suite, with a tropical decor, very well appointed. In the morning we were greeted by the amazing view of Arenal! The rooms have extra large windows so all rooms can see her glory....

Stayed 2 nights in the "bungalow style" resort which had beautiful gardens loaded with tropical plants along walkways and trails leading to the hot springs and the restaurants on site. A top-notch hotel with attentive service in the restaurants and bar areas. In the morning a clear sky allowed for a spectacular view of nearby Arenal volcano. We were not...

We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel though large is very quiet and each room very secluded and private. The pools are wonderful, thermal and cool available. The grounds are a particular delight... No need to go out for bird watching there are so many there! We were blessed by a beautiful clear view of the...

Great place. Rooms are neat with phones, TV and radio. Swim up bar and sushi restaurant are cool. Surprised by the pizza in the Italian restaurant, it was superb. Had dinner at the international restaurant. The service was great, but we were very disappointed in the filet Mignon, tasted more like a piece of brisket than a filet. The view...

The rooms and grounds are close to 5 star quality. The food drags the place down from top notch. Overall, a very positive place to stay. Stay here, but eat in La Fortuna. The hot springs are nice and there is a gym if you don't get worn out hiking, rafting or sight seeing.
