This was our most luxurious stay in Costa Rica. The rooms are all updated nicely. Our first room's view of the volcano was obstructed by trees so we requested a switch since that was the whole reason for staying in this area. The staff accommodated us and our new room/view met our expectations. Word of caution... it is a $11... More

If you are looking for a decent price hotel that is clean and bug free with great views of the hotel then this is the place for you. The hotel has its own springs which is great. The food was okay - wasn't a fan of their breakfast buffet and the bugs flying all over it and it staying out... More

Very nice, clean, and quiet. Very spacious rooms and very large bathroom. Hotel grounds were also very nice and also had a hot spring. There were tons of options for their breakfast and everything was delicious! Definitely would stay here again. Only reason I did not rate this 5 stars was because I thought the staff was just okay.

Stayed here in early April for 4 days. The rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds. In addition to the spectacular view of the volcano, we appreciated the rocking chairs right outside the rooms to sit and really take in the view. The bathroom is HUGE. The restaurant was very good, honestly better than I expected. The hotel is... More

We enjoyed are stay at this hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. The pools are great and the thermal springs open 24/7. This is a beautiful resort. If you are lucky to have open weather then you'll have a nice view on the volcano from your room or the hot springs tub. Beside the fact that the infrastructure was very well maintained the staff was incredible. They were behond friendly. I have rarely seen such an harmonized environment. Definately worth to stay!

The gardens of the hotel are very beautiful, with stunning views of the volcano from every room. All rooms have rocking chairs on the patio from which you can see the volcano and watch birds, including humming birds, fly around the gardens. The breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. We really enjoyed the hot springs tub after a... More

Our family stayed here for 2 nights and we were very happy with our stay. My boyfriend and I loved this hotel! We were booked at the Volcano Lodge through a G Adventures package. All the hotels on the tour were good, but this was by far the best of the bunch. The stunning views of Arenal volcano, wonderful hot springs, beautiful grounds, delightful restaurant, and stellar staff made this stay memorable. We stayed in... More
