Our group spent three days at the Arenal Paraiso. It's a beautiful setting with great views of the volcano. The grounds are lovely, the pool is sparkling clean, the hot pools are inviting. But at the same time, overall maintenance is spotty and the food could be more thoughtfully planned. On the maintenance and operations side, my room had a...

We stayed here three nights and went for one day to rio celeste. The beds were good, airconditioned room and a good shower. The breakfast was the only thing that we didn't like that much but ofcourse that's personal. The view on the vulcano was perfect it is like a painting. You have to wake up really early to see...

This hotel is made of bungalows up a long long road. Good luck if you need to dash back to your room for something. The rooms all have insects crawling around, the hair dryer fell off the wall, they kept forgetting to give us towels and my cousin's bathroom had no hot water and no one Really cared.

We stayed in this property over Christmas. It is a fine place to stop for a few days but I would not make it a destination property. The cottages are small for a family and the property is pretty but not a place to spend more than a couple of days. The hot springs were pretty but over crowded, so...

I stayed here in a lodge with 2 friends. Our room was very spacious. Its good to have your own porch outside the room to dump shoes etc. The layout of the cabins were good and it felt a bit like Center Parcs. We had a lovely view from our room of the volcano (when it wasn't cloudy). Apart from...

It was great to have several thermal water pools on-site. The breakfast was great. The room and bathroom were clean. Security was good. There was a safe in the cabin. Great place to get in touch with nature and relax! We could not see the volcano because it was raining. We used the spa services and they were OK.

As the title suggests- it was good. Pros: hotel property is beautiful, nice to have hot springs right there, the bartenders at the pool bar were very nice.A/C worked well. Delicious breakfast and Plato tipicos at the restaurant. Cons: SO far from town. You will spend at a minimum 5k colones, or $10 at the least, to get into town....

Beautiful grounds with views of the volcano. Thermal hot spring pools landscaped to give privacy with varied temperatures so you can find the perfect temperature to suite you.. No need to pay extra to visit other hot springs in the area! The standard room was large, clean and well appointed. Nice hiking trails on the grounds where you can see...

A beautiful property facing the Arenal volcano in an area that hasn't yet been blasted off the face of the earth and is probably not likely to be, unlike others in this area. Great rooms in a beautiful setting, several regular pools and a chain of volcanic hot springs pools coming down the side of the hill--really nice. Pool bar,...

The hotel room was not 5 star but was good enough for the short amount of time we were in the room. They room had some bugs and ants but was otherwise clean. The natural hot springs were cooler than I thought they would be but still a very nice part of this hotel. This meant we didn't have to...
