We arrived at Tilajari resort at night. The place looked nice then. We ate and the food was great, the owner was very friendly and even talked with us. Our room however was run down. We were with a group and some people found roaches and mouse turds in their bedding. I wouldnot recommend this place at all. Stay closer...

Dear Client, We have read and analyzed your comments, it was important for us to get this feed-back due it make us work even harder in all the details our clients may pointed out. So thank you for expressing yourself. It is true Tilajari is open since 1989, as we started as a Country Club that was turned or complemented...

A nice place to relax halfway through a tour of Costa Rica. Nice adequate rooms. If you have a room facing the river you can probably see crocodiles, in the gardens there are lots of iguana's and at breakfast they feed the birds and what a wonderful colourful display it is to see. In the surrounding area there is Arenal...

This a really nice resort with wildlife abound. Close to the hot Springs, zip lining, hanging bridges and the Volcano. The resort had lots to offer with a river, pool, hot tub, butterfly house, sports venues, all housed in a very nicely landscaped setting. WE enjoyed sitting on our veranda, watching the birds, monkeys and other wildlife. Don't forget to...

If you love peace and quiet, this place is for you. A former Country Club that was bought and adapted to your personal needs. Located on a river bank in which I saw a crocodile on my first visit there. There are indoor and outdoor tennis courts. I believe that there were about 10 courts. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Close...

Me and my husband stayed here for 3 nights on our recent vacation to Costa Rica. We stayed in a junior suite with a river view and it was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable with all your basic necessities but the real reason to stay here is the beautiful grounds. The hotel is on acres and acres...

Stayed here for a few nights during a work trip. Rooms were good size, a/c worked well when needed. It is located right on a river. There is a nice short walk through some tropical fruit trees. I didn't get to see the medicinal garden or butterfly garden but would be interesting. Food was fine and there is an abundance...

The Hotel Tilajari was a great stay--they have everything at the resort and the food was good (if you need a food escape, try the second floor of the cattle auction about 15-20 min walk...take a left out of the main entrance to the hotel, turn left at light, it is just past the gas station on the right). Staff...

Tilajari is one of my favorite places in the world! It's not a 'resort' by modern standards, the rooms aren't new and the fixtures aren't shiny. But the entire space is a lovingly tended botanical garden. The outdoor dining pavilion is such a pleasant space, and the tiled pool and hot tub overlooking the river are an oasis of peace....
