These cabins are beautiful and well maintained. The hotel is family run by Alvaro and his sons so you'll be received with warm hospitality and they'll do their best to answer all of your questions or meet your neds. Make sure to ask about tours with them directly and book any tours with them directly. Highly recommend the rafting tour...

Really lucky to stay at this great place, it's a 20min walk from La Fortuna (3$ in a cab) but was worth to walk to stay in such a peaceful location. The family run farm/hotel has a wonderful atmosphere.... delicious breakfast served on the family house terrace across the road. We loved the peace and quiet..... make sure you walk/take...

The location is in a nice little cabin. There was a very nice, small front and back deck. The location is just outside of town--a bit far to walk, but easy drive. We felt like we were camping late at night or early morning with the sound of nature. The staff was very welcoming.

I am so thankful that we found this gem! Quiet and convenient, this place really had the most lovely setting. The cabins are all nicely appointed. We were thrilled to have air conditioning as well as a mini-fridge in our room. And the bathroom was large and modern. It looks like all the cabins have both a front patio with...

This is a nice hotel to travel with another person. View to the volcano, near the waterfall and you can get to the river by walking to the back of the property. If you like to relax away from the center and be on a quiet place I strongly recommend you this place.

Wonderful cabins in pretty well maintained grounds, a short distance from the waterfall and town centre. The staff were friendly and helpful, good breakfast for an additional $7. We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins, with it's huge, luxurious bed. A microwave or some sort of cooking facility would have been useful for us and given you the 5...

We stayed at Rancho Cerro Azul in March. The huts were small but spacious and very clean. (we had hut 5 which was away from the reception and close to the river trail) The grounds had spectacular flowers and were immaculately kept. We walked to the river on many occasions and were able to soak in the stream while listening...

What a lovely location! Gorgeous gardens and very quaint little huts for each group of guests. Family run and very friendly, helpful owners. Were given many suggestions of what to do and were very happy with the options. Our hut was very quaint and perfect for my family. Loved the hammock outside to relax in and the option of breakfast...

My best friend and I stayed here a couple nights and it was one of the highlights of our trip! The grounds are beautiful and it was definitely paradise! There are 8 bungalows, each with a private back deck with hammock where we spent all our downtime listening to music, having some drinks and admiring the jungle outside. It's in...

Unfortunately our stay at Rancho Cerro Azul was average. Our welcome and initial greetings were ok, the person (name unknown) who was on reception seemed a little 'off' and seemed to lack people skills. He showed us to our room which was spacious and clean. Inside the room featured a little kitchenette, fridge, kettle, coffee maker and sink which was...
