Jeannetta and Cristina are great. We are on a low-carbohydrate diet and Cristina adjusted our meals to suit us perfectly. We would go out during the day and come back to the apartment to find a wonderful dinner. Steak with onions, mixed veggies (from the local farmer's market) Tilapia or Corvina (fish) Pork chops. Yummy. We already made our reservation...

Hey, do you mind if I tell why you have kept coming back? Cris our cook prepares special meals and this ladies hubby, loves Cris's cooking. If I lose Cris we will probably be in trouble. It is always so good to see you , we intend to do everything possible to keep you coming back.

We stayed three nights at La Terraza (May, 2012). The owner, Jeanetta, was very helpful - even sent her driver to accompany us one evening to find a particular restaurant. Her house keeper showed us how to find the market, to park, etc. and helped us make purchases. She also did our laundry for a reasonable price. Jeanetta was full...

My first experience of a Bed & Breakfast, and it exceeded my expectations. My family and I were in Grecia for a wedding. Jeanetta is a gracious lady, whose main concern is to be sure everyone is pleased with the accommodations Spent April 17th through April 25th there. The lush garden with a variety of trees and flowers were a...

Okay Ms. Marian, you have bragged about us, now let me brag about you and that tremendous family of yours. It is very hard to please everyone in a group but you all made it so very easy. In fact in evoked a dedication to your needs from my entire staff. They enjoyed meeting your needs. Wedding can be very...

We stayed at La Terraza because after 3 months living in the outskirts of San Jose, Costa Rica, we just needed to "get away from it all" for a while. We wanted someplace peaceful and pretty and La Terraza certainly fit that bill. But what pleased us the most was how accommodating Jeanetta and her cook Christina were. The meals...

Jeanetta is a wonderful host. She truly means it when she says that she wants her guests to feel like they are special. We were there for three nights and really did feel welcomed. Not only was our room well appointed, but the atmosphere was wonderful. Breakfast on the verandah every day cooked to our liking. Visiting with Jeanette, who...

Jeanetta is a great host and Christina is a gem. Jeanetta was kind enough to switch us to the apartment for no extra cost because we were going to be there for three nights. The apartment is great - very roomy, with a delightful balcony. I expected the guest house to be farther out in the country, but it is...

You do not believe in keeping secrets, I upgraded you to the apartment because you were so nice about the changes I had to make. My clients are something else, they highlight me but they never say how gracious they are. Plus giving you the apartment was part of our attempt to make it impossible for you not to come...

Of the seven guest houses we have stayed in Costa Rica, La Terraza is hands down our favorite. Jeanetta and Christina are two of the nicest people we have met in a country full of nice people -- we consider them both lifelong friends. LaTerraza itself is a beautiful property, with extensive, well-kept grounds and a lovely stream running close...

Thanks so much for your vote of confidence. You did'nt say that you like Costa Rica so much until after your first visit you decided to make this home. Oh the secrets people keep. My intention was to make you a permanent guest, but your love for our climate and the people sort of made you feel welome enough to...

During the past few years I've stayed at La Terraza 4-5 times and I always return to this lovely spot. The rooms are quite amble, the sound of the running stream on the property makes for a refreshing peace. I like having a mini-frigerator, coffee maker and microwave oven in the rooms so I can have snacks and treats when...

I don't know if the our business plan included making guest so comfortable until they decide to make Costa Rica their home.
