Where does one begin? We almost cancelled the remainder of our trip to stay here. Probably would have if they weren't booked solid for the rest of the week. The hospitality of our hosts, Bill & Doreen, was impeccable. They certainly went above and beyond in every possible regard. Bill came to meet us to help us find their 'hidden... More

Our first 5 nights in Costa Rica at this B & B was a great experience. The owners were very hospitable and went way out of their way to make our stay very comfortable and pleasant. We slept like a log in our king size bed. We were not just vacationing but looking for a long term rental to spend... More

We stayed at Doreen and Bill at the begining of our holiday and they were both very helpful and welcoming. Doreen even contacted us by phone in London before our departure to enquire if we needed any help on arrival! As we did not have a car Bill came to collect us at the airport in the middle of the... My husband and I were wrapping up a two week vacation in Costa Rica when we arrived at Casa Naranja. As has been mentioned in earlier reviews, it is a little tricky to find but Bill and the welcoming committee, Abby, Betsy and Chloe (friendly dogs) came and retrieved us from Grecia and escorted us to their lovely B&B. Casa... More

I am a part time resident of Costa Rica ,and I recently had to ship my daughter's Rhodesian Ridgeback back to the states, and was in need of a place to stay overnight with him in the Alajuela area. I found Casa Naranja listed under pet- friendly hotels in the area, and was very pleased with my experience there. Bill... More

House and grounds have unique history (ask owners/hosts Bill and Doreen!) -- beautiful views of terraced rural areas close-by and the central valley north of San Jose -- about a 35-min drive from the airport. Well worth the stay. Immaculate lodgings, wonderful breakfast, helpful hosts with interesting backgrounds and art and other collectibles. very generous, above and beyond in many... More

The Bed and Breakfast facilities and grounds are very well maintained. The views from the property are amazing. The owners (Bill and Doreen) were very accommodating and took care of us and are very friendly. They made us feel right at home. A tasty and filling breakfast was served each morning. Bill and Doreen have been in costa rica a... More

I use to live in Costa Rica and went back to check out Grecia as another possible retirement location. Casa Naranja was an absolutely perfect place from which to see the city and get an overall view of the surrounding area. Bill and Doreen were the perfect hosts and the accomodations and food were great. Lynn

My girlfriend and I stayed one night in November 2010, at the very tail-end of the rainy season. We were both a little uncertain about what a bed-and-breakfast experience would be like, but you get all of the service you would expect from a high-end hotel, and then some. The house is absolutely gorgeous, impeccably decorated and very secure. We... More
