We had a casita with a patio overlooking the valley and pool - gorgeous! The only drawback on our trip was that the hottub was not working. Located at a higher elevation, the pool is very cold. Aside from that, it was wonderful. We were travelling by bus, and the bus stops directly in front of their entrance. (Take the...

We booked 2nights. The hotel is not easy to find even with GPS. Small houses and nice location to rest. Pool is nice biut small. Good view over the area. Great breakfast, clean and tidy place and a lot of information provided by Maite and Jose. Worth to stay one or two nights more to do your day trips, Hiking...

If every hotel/BB would deliver what Mango Valley offers, we would be traveling every day of the rest of our life. Why? For about 60 euro a night (breakfast included) and if you stay 3 nights you are offered a free transport to the airport. You will get: a) extreme friendly, helpful and enthusiastic Spanish hosts, who speak excellent English....

Hello! When you wrote that your were “celebrating your love” we thought: "maybe a young newly married couple?" We were not ready to say hello to one of the nicest couples who have ever come to Mango Valley. You are great, you make a beautiful couple and you deserve a life of complete happiness. We spent 7 lovely days at Mango Valley for the holidays. The location is quite serene, with breathtaking views of the valley. The suites are well stocked. There's a little kitchen area, with a gas stove, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots, plates - you name it. On Fridays and Saturdays, visit the farmer's market and get some fresh and cheap ingredients...

My husband and I wrapped up our surf trip with a couple days/1 night in Central Valley. Our mission was to go to Poas volcano then to Mango Valley Hotel. We made it to Poas (very cool) and eventually found our way to Mango Valley. Luckily we had a cell and the sweet couple who owns the hotel guided us...

When planning our road trip, I found Hotel Mango Valley to be a good location - after visiting La Paz Waterfall Garden & Poas Volcano en route to La Fortuna. We only stayed for one night, and I must say, pretty much everything about the place was just perfect. Jose and Maite were wonderful hosts! They gave us such a...

We were greeted by Jose and Maite, owners, and felt at home immediately. They were very knowledgeable about the area and gave out great tips & tricks and restaurant recommendations. The lodging accommodations were perfect for us. My husband and I stayed in 5 Poas, while our daughter stayed next door in 4 Colibri. The views from our porch were...

I recently spent my honeymoon in Costa Rica at this bed and breakfast. I stayed in the Poas 6 room that has the terrace with 2 rocking chairs.
